hello vm don't make such remarks even though i am also against reservation in centers of excellence like iits and iims i don't agree with ur remarks i personally have come across some of the best doctors among OBCs and SCs.

god forbid.i am hail and healthy.and u know my family doctor is a SC(even though i don't bother of the cast for the sake of debate now i need to point out) an excellent physicians its only lack of opportunities my dear slowly the no of good doctors are increasing in these communities.o.k.so don't worry.

There may be good OBC doctors. But whome will you choose to get operated by a 40% score OBC doctor or a 90% merit doctor?

what is this drama about IITs? what have IITs done for india in terms of research and development...some specific questions 1) how many patents have been filed by IITs at any level.. how many useful inventions have come out of it? Compare its record with that of some leading univesities like stanford and you will realize where it stands 2) how many research papers in reputed journals like nature, science etc come from IITs on regular bases? again compare its record with other universities in asia and world. 3) any nobel prize winners yet? other IITian achievers can be counted on fingers like vinod khosla , netravalli etc..
So why this hoopla? why is india still technologically and economically so backward despite so many geniuses? I in no way mean to demean IITians. But I think IITs take some excellent brains and makes sure no tangible benefit and output comes to the nation. Majority of the IITians end up as business managers or analysts in financial giants..or they go to USA for PhD and Post Docs. How many do what they are supposed to do? create technology as engineers.
So why care if their standard is going to come down a bit? it is not like upper castes started leaving for USA just after this announcement.. they are going since ever.. now they have a reason..

i understand that these kind of things are beneficial for the country but on large scale ,have they made such changes which can affect the whole country,have they got the guts to stop politicians like arjun singh and moreover all these things are for their own interests only which anybody can do.so there is nothing indispensable they have done

one more thing regarding your Q' what have i done for the country' well i have nt done anything for the country.but the examples,you have given here i think i have done many things for my country,like donating blood to my fellow country men,motivating beggars nt to beg but to earn on their own.which actually i can afford to do. the thing which i cannot afford to do. how can i do so.?

Mayawati urged the government to bring in a constitutional amendment to extend reservation in Central educational institutions to the economically backward sections among the forward communities (FC) and the minorities. The BSP would support the government in Parliament, she promised.
It is pitty to see so racist and discriminatory remarks by one section against others, there is only one common code of upper caste bring them together shows how much raciest and bias they are. IIM & IIT should not be the altimate aim of anyone's career but people does not see the opportunities arround them. World at large recognise University Education at par with any approved University in any part of the world for building your career of afiliation to the any professional body arround the world either in USor Europe or Canada or Australia only we have to send proof of our authenticate certificate to prove that we are origional qualified graduate which is equalevant to respective countries education graduation level. Why people maing hue and cry IIT & IIM is only Indian Melody Drama of hype, myth and propoganda to brand education rather than achieving world scale science and technology research. They are last in this race of research and development. They havenever produce any Noble Prize Laurate or Scholer in last 40 years of their existance. Where as UGC afiliated Uniersities have done great job and produced Noba Prize winner Scientist and technologist from India but they are projected as worse by this IIT an IIM hyprocrats. Just to market them as best in the country its not the so called institution delievered but its only candidate who deliever the fruits of education and prove his worth.
