Prices are going to be to new high level whatever steps we take to reduce the expense. I think India is the only place in develoing and would be suprepower country candidate where the prices are still less compared to other nations. This is general phenomenon. Instead of finding way to reduce the expense, we should find way to increase the income. We can not solve problem be going back. We have to go ahead and fight the problem till it is removed. But ofcourse, unnecessory spending to show our status should be avoided.

Hey Bhai....Don't Compare India with other Nations,,India is a billion plus country and more than 60% people are badly affected by price hikes,,,than means 60-7- crore people sufereing from this trend,,So before saying simple statement like India is developing lets consider the ground realities.

I know india is not developed country and can not be superpower, reasons of this are too many to be discussed here. But when I said increase the income then its for all level of people. That's the only way to cope rising prices. Believe it or not. And that's the way to become real Developed country. Correct me if I am wrong.

card user tend to overspend because of impulse shopping. Plan in advance and take only as much money as required (you can use food coupons or gift vouchers kind of thing). I used to be impulse shopper, normally in big malls like nirmal or R mall, but now i've stopped taking cards and amazingly my credit card bills are reduced from 10-12000 to 5-6000. And it's not like I do not have essential food or clothes. Try it guys...it's worth a single try.
I am surprise to see so many solutions which are short term but noone talks about controlling population, which is the only long term solution. Target Indias population to be 60 crore by 2050.....Lets make it a mission and then everything would fall in place. No couple henceforth should be allowed to have more than one child....even if it is a girl........ It is a simple maths......more population leads to more demand and supply cant be increased beyond a limit. Why is Europe and US happy have plenty??? why is India poor and greedy??? answer is population

Milk price increased Rs.2 per ltr. bangalore -mysore Bus foare for rajahamsa increased from Rs82 to Rs.130. Their canteens are always selling items more than the MRP. The Govt. is sucking the blood of the Public. to whom to question

You are right Mr. Phakoor. Some of the BMTC conductors will give u ticket for higher prices if they feel u r new to the place. i feel they are getting some commission for the collection.

Yes, beware of BMTC conductors, for 4kms journey one conductor charged Rs.8 and did not even bother to return the change for my Rs 10 note. They are number1 cheaters after auto drivers.
Many times i receive forward mails which says that so much money is spent on MP's daily expenses. i hear yearly around few thousand crores are spent. REALLY, WHAT THESE PEOPLE ARE CONTRIBUTING to the PEOPLE even after spending this much tax payers money??? It is a Criminal waste to spend on these people. Although this is not affecting Inflation, our CM's/PM's announce policies which force the government to allow subsidies and that in turn results in crunch. Government as a result is lookin helpless. This is followed by subsequent governments in both and center.
UN NECESSARY EXPENDITURE SHOULD BE CUT.
for a change, Party should spend for the MP's daily expenses not the government.

Increasing income has limitations , art is in controlling expenditure.By now you must be having farely good Idea on different heads of expenditure ,like on entertainment, grossary, vegitables and fruits, entertainment, tel petrol lighting rent bills,Laundry servant bill, amount on kids , amt on medicine and health food ...etc etc...Now try to find out the absulute necessory fron NOT so absulutly necessory and you will have the solution. Before siting down you should have as much data as possible on above spendings on different heads.
1) DO NOT WASTE ! 2) Plan your trips properly. If possible, take a two wheeler instead of a car. 3) Lets go green and start riding bicycles for shorter trips. Upper class of society should take initiative to start this trend which will make it easy for middle class to follow. 4)A torn shirt can look better on a healthy body than an expensive shirt on a flabby body. So, start exercising to make yourself attractive rather then buying expensive clothing. 5) Don't greed and accumulate stuff.

drink milk instead of coca-cola & pepsi. it will help not only farmers but also your health. one litre milk cost Around Rs 20 but one litre coca -cola cost Rs 40.
we are drying up our own currency by buying goods of companies' whose major share goes to their mother concern in some far off land. our exports of fmcg are negligible see even thailand and malaysia export a huuuuuge amount of toffees and chocolates(read sugar boiled and fake cocoa butter) and charge us through our nose. avoid these products. also avoid using the vehicles unnecessarily. use public transport like autorikshaw and bus. DO NOT USE HAND/CYCLE RICKSHAWS. the rickshaw puller will use the money to buy cheap country liquor and abuse you the next time you ride his rickshaw too. restraint is the best form of saving. grow flowers at home in pots and plants, and have rotis/parathas instead of bread for breakfast. it is nutritious and cost effective too. avoid tea coffee, have nimbu paani or something similar. yu can save a lot by these simple techniques like avoid late night tv viewing, watch cd/dvd together with family/friends. you not only save cd/dvd rent but electricity on ac,fan and tv set. please contribute some more

Hi Harsh, I do not know why you have to be HARSH on the rickshaw pullers. I felt you were insensitive and generalized some experience you may have had and painted all those folks with the same dirty brush. Please withdraw your words - "DO NOT USE HAND/CYCLE RICKSHAWS. the rickshaw puller will use the money to buy cheap country liquor and abuse you the next time you ride his rickshaw too."

Learn to hibernate, like polar bears do in winter. Then, you won't need to eat, you won't need to go out. If you hibernate for 6 months, you can save big time.
Join hibernation classes immediately to learn how to hibernate.
