Eat Eggs and nonveg food - it a better and maybe will be cheaper. Maybe even more seafood.
Our consumption of food, energy and stuff like steel and oil are growing faster than the production is growing....so slow down consumption and things will be fine. We are being stupid by pointing fingers at BJP / Congress where the problem lies with us wasting and not spending more and buying more. This had to happen and these cycles will come and go.
have fast on Tuesday and Friday..and all the Navratras..also try to eat at friends places and whereever possible other than on own expense. Spend maximum time in office to save electricity and water at home. pillion ride friends to office...

Eat less and focus on reducing weight. Hopefully with higher prices for food, farmers will make better profits and grow more. Eat less and grow more to reduce prices.
BJP and Congress leaders were befooling us in the name of super power and 10% growth. Left gave warning for last 15 years that do not be globalization, because it demolished Latin American countries. MMS done for World Bank.

I see only one way..leave all these hi-fi cities like b'lore and go to our native town/village..Be with your people....eat fresh food, drink cold water of well...walk with friends to some miles...do harvesting..play friendly playcards rather than watching crap shown on TV news channel...and kick the politician if they come to you for voting..

I agree with you.... With the current advances in communication technologies and internet one can work as a software engineer from ones village and also take care of ones farms also. Double earnings you see... ;)
Out here for our client in Switzerland a lot of people are part of the development team but working from villages of Germany....

my friend, hi-fi cities life style also reach to village. now villages also not purely vilages about which you are thinking. life is totally changed in villages also. now there are well, but you can not drink its water. in villages, people are spending more time on Tv than Metro cities. Farmers are selling their field to real states dealar on high price, they are not interested in doing hard work.
it's too costly outside...and if we ask last time it was so and so price why it's so high this time..they start laughing...Don't know when the budget will go down or be normal.....No doubt some people start stealing grossary item than gold and other..by the way gold become so costly that we've stop thinking about it...
Rediff could ask people to respond in these columns. But, nothing will happen. None of the ministers, MPs, MLAs and other Govt functionaries will be affected by the prices. The Aam Aadmi has to be satisfied only with crocodile tears from people responsible for this situation.
RE:How are you coping with price rise?

Rediff is asking these types of questions to users for response to increase their website hits which in turn increases its adverstisements revenue.. That's all their motto is and it is not with with any kind of concerns for aam aadmi...
1. Instal power saving bulbs to save 25% on electricity bills. 2. Make ghee out of malai left from milk and use it to make vegetables.. This will reduce your edible oil consumption. 3. Buy 10 Kg bag of Flour from wholesale shop. Will save you 10%. 4. Cut down petrol consumption by walking or taking a bus sometimes. 5. For a couple of months, buy cheaper dal and rice. Masoor dal is most expensive. avoid that. 6. Use less onions and tomatoes in cooking. 7. Sell all scrap lying in your house. Items which have not been used for 6 or more months are useless and must be sold. 8. Stop buying all accessories for a few months like After shave, skin lotion and other perosnal care items.
