government should do away with reservation altogether. if government starts a scheme which is unsucessful then it is closed in 1-2 years, when reservation has not uplifted the people in the last 60 years then its the biggest loss making scheme of india and should be stopped at once. this shows that it is totally politically motivated .if someone asks for reservation when his two generations have alredy taken advantage of it, it shows that reservation is not meeting its real cause, its only making them lazy. they think that they have seats in colleges and jobs reserved for them so why should they study or work hard. why don`t we have reservation in our cricket team ? cause we want the best people to play ands win for our country. then why should we have reservation for seats in medical colleges and engineering colleges ? would you like a person getting 40% marks in ppg to play with the lives of the people of our country when we are humans and not animals? or would you like a person getting seat in engineering college by reservation to build a bridge, building which falls after a few years to kill innocent people. the government is not looking into the root cause which is social and economic upliftment of the people by giving them free and compulsory education (and even subsidy for coaching classes if they require). instead the government is making them lazy by giving them reservation at each and every step of their life!! lets wake up friends its now or never!!!!!!!!!
OBCs for whom already jobs are reserved, now get another bonanza! When a child is born in the family there is great demand for getting OBC certificate for future use. Most of these are false documents and made to order in exchange of hefty bribes in order to corner the benefit later. Children of well to do and Govt officials misuse the provisions of reservation. Would it not have been better to concentrate on providing basic education for all deserving OBCs free of cost and make them compete. Even after 6 decades clamoring for reservation brings no glory to recipient and giver also.
This is one of the most stupid arguments I have ever heard. If this is really true, then the Indian Judiciary has turned itself a mockery. The eligibility for a person shall/will depend only on his/her parents' qualifications. If the person passes out with a degree (even from a IIT or AIIMS), he should still be eligible for reservation in higher studies in IIMs and AIIMS.
If it is so, then why IIMs are delaying their results ???
What will the govt. do, if the IITians ( hope all are NRIs now), join hands and start an IIT / IIM for the Meritorious students only - irrespective of caste/creed/religion etc.- by funding the IITs and IIMs ???
Will these IITans/IIMns will do it now ???
Only govt. aided intitutions should implement quota system and not privately funded institutions ! Isn't it !
Till yesterday they thought that the court has granted Quota to OBC.
But only now it is unwinding that this case is a perfect "kiss him in the lips and stab him in the back" case. At a same time you got a lip kiss as well as a stab injury.

Till yesterday the 24 x 7 having multipronged debate and appraisals as if the premier insttutes are going OBC defacto.
But now as per K.Venugopal's explaination it is clear that the judges "awarded" quota seekers that is "not easily accessible".
A hats of to the hounorable judges for showing that they have better political IQ than our actual political netas.
Hence it is imperative to maintain 'cultural' aka 'caste' diversity in all temples in India.
Government of India should implement 'reservations' in all Indian temples as perthe 'caste' census in India.
1. 52% of all temple staff including Pujaris/Priests should be from OBC communities. 2. 29% temple staff including Pujaris/Priests should be from Dalits and Tribals. 3. Remaining all temple staff including Pujaris/Priests should be from other castes.
Otherwise India might disintegrate into 500 independent states as in pre-BristishRaj.
All of SC/ST/OBC and forward caste like brahmins are losers. Here is why: (1)For SC/ST their share of pie has gotten smaller. Now they will have to compete with OBCs. And it is the OBCs that oppress dalits not brahmins. Mayawati raised the same point during elections. OBCs include bhumihars, yadavs and Jats they oppress dalits more as these people hold real power in villages not the temple priest. (2) Forward caste are now openly dicriminated against. There is no reason for them to love India anymore. They should start looking to move to countries like US/Canada. (3) OBCs just got branded as backwards. I was just talking to recruiter here in US who recruits from IITs/IIMs. He told me point blank, more reservation means his job of recruitment becomes easy. For ex, earlier he had to interview tons of people in IITs and IIMs, now he says he just has to pick from top 50%. For the rest of the needs they would go to second tier schools. Because that is where the "next best" who could not make it IIT/IIM went. He said point blank, IIT/IIM teach from same books as any other college. The difference in students is the difficult entrance. Because we know someone clearing that without any reservation is good by default. We hire from IIT/IIMs just for same reason, otherwise even a Jaunpur MBA has same syllabus and curriculum and books. So OBCs still won't be hired. No need to worry as talent gets discovered anyhow.
Yes! This country is full of oppressed and backward people.Even the supreme court has admitted the same and pronounced a judgement.Next step for India is to fight for reservation in the International arena!To being with,India should take up the fight for getting reservation to Indian Athletes in the Beiging Olympics!If the athlete happens to be a SC/ST running for the 100 meters dash, he will run only for 40 meters!and if s/he happens to be a OBC,s/he has to run upto 73meters to claim the title!Even the Indian Hockey team should stake its claim for the competition on the same grounds-England is a forward country!so,they have should have scored atleast 10 goals to beat India, but they only scored Two!Therefore they actually lost in the qualification match.England should be eliminated!Next, India should claim its backwardness in all International awards - Nobel,Oscar etc.A min of 27% has to be earmarked for India.(Its another thing that Pak/Bangala will claim 80% reservation!) and, in the Indian space mission "Chandrayan", India will send a rocket made in Sivakasi (Diwali cracker) which should be considered as mission achieved!so on and so forth..Long live reservtaion!
