I had been from a poor background but from General category .I studied with candles as my dad could not afford to pay the elictric bills and we used to have always fuse being removed I struggled day and night and got 300 th rank in engineering entrance but .was not eligible for the computer science engineering in top college .But a TRIBE who had a rank of 30000 got the seat there ...
I would have been happy if this TRIBE was really from a Poor background . But this TRIBEs dad owns 5 petrol pumps in bangalore ....
It is high time Govn opens their closed eyes and see who should be really benefitted.

Hey arabs don't need girls from other countries. They have their moms and sisters. If not enough, they have their daughters too. May be you are not an arab - if you are you would have already known this fact. Get a life!
if the reservation really achieves those intended to, that is good.
Most OBC readers of rediff, I presume already belong to the creamy layer and would not be eligible, but eventually would hijack the whole cause. That is unfortunate
I had 300th rank in my entrance exam and i was not eligible for computer science engineering in the top college .But a TRIBE who had a rank of 30,000 got the seat .I would have been happy if this TRIBE was really a person from some forest who was poor and helpless But this mon keys Dad had 4 petrol pumps in bangalore ...This is too much ...

First of all you are paying the price because you called him a monkey. First respect the people.
Second. Stop whining. Your opportunity will come. Life is a long marathon and you may have to cross more hurdles than others.
And last but not the least, get your butt out and start VOTING!
Q: Who appoints judges to supreme court? A: Government Q: What does govt do? A: Run policies and programs in public interest Q: How is government elected? A: People vote for them. Q: Do politicians push policies of people who vote for them? A: Yes Q: Does this mean court and govt are likely to side only with those who vote? A: Naturally, what do you expect? Q: What do you call such courts? A: Kangaroo court Q: What do you call judges of Kangaroo Court? A: Kangaroos!
