Sangh Parivar goons started to say 'please'. But they did not forget when Muslims at Gujarat carnage said 'please'.
after going through this blog i really felt sorry for the ppl who are supporting bjp. First of all let me make it clear when congress passed the bill bjp, bsp, janta dal, shivsena every one supported the bill. now how foolish would it be to turn to bjp. i can see some people are indeed very frustrated by the idea of reservation. I d say please grow up. obcs and dalits, muslims form 85% of the population. Now how do u make india a super power when 85% of those are suffering.
the idea is very simple some of the people are commenting on loss for merit. where were these people when management quota was introduced. did nt that effect m,erit students wasnt it a loss to the students.
all of a sudden when this reservation is given everyone is in fury. how fair is that.
and people think about us uk.. in us blacks are given scholarships, doles and they have reservation system there. just that the name is different.
if the obcs are not developed then 10 yrs or 20 yrs they are gonna revolt..why do u ppl think lalloo or mulayam win?? its because those ppl are fed up with thakurs and they go with a lesser evil,
isnt it appreciatable that atleast this would satisfy the hunger of our brothers??
agreeed reservations are no way to develp a clan..they need primary education and basic ameneties.. but when it would overburden the economy so much the best thing is to give reservation nd make them develop themselves..
lastly im not an obc or a dalit.. the day free compulsory educ

and u know what the govt pays the fee equally to an upper caste student and they are not given admission for free..if the problem is the finance then obc students pay their fee, their taxes and also atleast they are better meritorious..
now ur out by urself..u say the purpose of management quota is to earn money..with such an approach do u think the education is fair?? the govt spends lakhs on obc welfare.. now i argue that if we give reservation for free in future we save the money on subsidies its an investment as private colleges invest in their buildings
All your arguements are based the fact " ALL or MOST OF THE OCs ARE ECONOMICALLY RICH WHILE ALL OR MOST OF THE OBC ARE ECONOMICALLY POOR" But it was a fact of 100 years old and it is not true now. So, the creamy layer theory is suggested by many people. If our administrators do not have any political agenda behind their support for reservation, Why can not they implement Creamy layer? Why can not they find out real statistics of poor and rich ? It's all about politics and about the people's unconcious suport for their own caste rather than what is rational and what is not in this big country.

yes, i want tendulakar to me removed immedaitely under approval of supreme court and replaced by a OBC
The CPI(M) on Thursday welcomed the judgement of the Surpeme Court upholding 27 per cent reservation for OBCs in Central educational institutions and asked the Government to take immediate steps to implement the quota from the coming academic year.
"The Politburo of the CPI(M) welcomes the judgment of the Supreme Court upholding the law passed for 27 per cent reservation for OBCs in educational institutions run by the Central Government," the CPI(M) said in a statement here.
It also welcomed the court decision to exclude the creamy layer in the OBCs from the quota.
"The CPI(M) has consistently advocated reservation of 27 per cent of OBCs and excluding the affluent sections so that the really deserving get the benefits of the quota," it said.
"The Central Government should take immediate steps to implement the reservation from the forthcoming academic year," it added.
The Forward Bloc also welcomed the Supreme Court order.
"We welcome the decision of the apex court and would ask the Government to implement the quota at the earliest possible opportunity," said Debabrata Biswas, General Secretary of the Forward Bloc.
This idiotic government should make 100 % reservations in all educational institutions... I feel really ashamed to be ruled by such a**holes..shame on your part politicians for ruining our lives by playing vote bank politics...
The focus should have been on improving the delivery system for education in the country. The fees of all the institutions are anyway beyond the reach of majority of the population. A concerted effort on improving grassroot level schools and colleges will ensure that all students irrespective of caste will have an equal opportunity in competing with each other.
If the intention of the government is to improve the condition of the Dalits, then govet. sould be providing free education/books/clothes etc for the kids who can score good marks during their school/college education. Provide them with better coaching during their school/college days to take part in competitive examination such as the IIT or IIM entrance exams. In a 100metre race some people has to run only 50 metres is not right. When 27% OBC plus all other reservations makes half the class will have substandard students and that is going to downgrade the standard. If these reserved catogories cannot achieve the pass marks, then again there will be struggle to pass all those Dalits. May God save our country from politicians trying to build vote banks.
