abe backward, why not make it 100% General so that all will be lucky? How long do you want support in your life? Upto Undergraduate stage is fine, u want reservations in PG, Employment, Promotions. Do you have any self-respect or not? When will you people be self-reliant?

India is a 'democracy' and NOT 'meritocracy' like Singapore.
by usa on Apr 10, 2008 03:42 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Hence it is imperative to appreciate 'diversity' in Government (Legislature,Judiciary,Administration) and in Private Institutions (Reliance, Infosys etc) in order to prevent 'casteism' and socio-economic 'collusion' in India

1. 52% of Judges should be from OBC.
2. 35% Judges should be Dalits and Tribals.
3. Remaining Judges should be from other castes.

Otherwise India might disintegrate into 500 independent states as in pre-BristishRaj.

Recently, a school friend of mine, beneficiary of the quota system, a physician, at the district hospital told me; "Most of the doctors from reservation category are incompetent. No educated or conscious person belonging to either upper or lower caste has any desire to be treated by them. This attitude is most pronounced within the medical community itself. Within the medical community this class of doctors is considered to be on same footing as the ones produced by medical colleges where admissions are via the donations route or the ones that have degrees from some Russian institute. These people are called the Munnabhais of Indian medical system, a community of which our health minister is the flag bearer." Those who are meritorious amongst the reservation categories have divided opinion abt it. An OBC college friend of mine, who took his UPSC civil services exam the year he finished his graduation, stood fourteenth in the merit list and is serving in my home state as an IAS officer says that reservations have helped this section of the society but only a small part of it aka the so called creamy layer. While great achievers, (and I'm not talking about charlatans and gasbags like the celebrated Dalit intellectual Chandrabhan Prasad or 'the man of culture'(!) Karunanidhi), of the backward section such as Sam Pitroda find this exercise futile, regressive and divisive. Good or bad it is a policy truly reflective of the biggest Mobocracy of the world.

Sangh Parivar betrayed Rajeev Goswami, the first person to publicly burn himself in protest of Mandal Commission. He is the best example of the doll in the hands of corrupt leaders.

i don%uFFFDt think any other people in any other country are as proud as us to call ourselves as backward class. People elsewhere beg to differ if they are being given seats on such sympathy. free, equal education shud be made mandatory to one and all irrespective of caste and creed. India is still divided and shall remain so till a proper statergy is in the place. How does one define creamy layer? we know of so many people owning more than 2-3 houses in bangalore, central govt job for every person at home, concessional fee structure.......so now they are planning to acquire buildings.....

Another Worst Law to Devide and Rule
by on Apr 10, 2008 03:40 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Another good reason to attract the votes of in the name of reservation. and role the caounty as if it is their born right.

Thoughtless Leader....
Sameless Government...........
Unityless Indians............

All our nonsence leader think only how to get votes, but never ever think of well being of common mans.

I would like to ask you one question

Is it only a Dalits, OBC and Monorities are having poor poeple? All other cast people, are rich? its not true many people in other unreseved caste can even offered a basic needs food shelter and cloths.

Is it only Dalits, OBC or Monrities are hungry?
Definitelly not.........there more than population of reserved caste people are hungry in India and many people from unreserved caste are dying because can even afford meal a day.

Is it only the reserved people are uneducated?
There are people in caste are uneducated, or else indiaan literacy to be 100%, but not the case all rich people and reserved caste people are getting the good education, reserved class people are taking unwanted extra advantage even through they are ecomonically sound and greedy people unserved caste are suffering even though are good in academic.
Is it only the reserved cast people are unemployed?
Unemployment rate data is reversed and shows the people in unreseved caste are more unemployed and reserved caste.....ARE WE

Is it only reserved cast people are been abused?
Unwanted goverment rules to protect reserved peopl has created fanc

People are misled
by devdass on Apr 10, 2008 03:39 PM  Permalink

It is a pity that poor in OBC and Sc/Sts get carried away by the rhetororics of the powerful in their Cast. They play the cast card, spread hatred for the rest of the fellow citizens and exploit the poor innocent and enjoy all the fruits! Poor remain poor and get carried away by the "hate Others syndrome"! George Orwell has written about this phenomena beautifully in his novel Animal farm! How else somebody could explain 95% of the people being eligible for reservation in TN!
