He is not an OBC. He is a dalit. The other judges are all upper caste.
Very right move by Suprime Court, as in India it is very necessary to level the poor and backword people with other general people, without res. General ppl like Thakur Pandit will not give chance to OBC and SC guys%u2026 and they will never get any chance to improve, so OBC resevation is great move.

Dear Sirs Why you are equating on cast terms. I would certainly happy if SC has announced quota on Income basis.There are lot of upper cast people who too are backwards in terms of financial and there wards are too are deprived of certain level playing fields.
frustating decision for open candidates, all open candidate should boycott from the next election because not a single political party has supported them.......
How many of the people posting here and bragging about discrimination marry outside their caste? Very few. Most of them are focussed in retaining and protecting the privileges their ancestors availed for them by denying the basic requirements and minimal human decency of the rest, who are now left as underprivileged. This is Tribal mindset. Historical wrongs need to be righted, and i upheld the SC judgment though i come from OC category.

I think u r mad. And who r u to uphold SC judgement. People marry within their caste for the sake of all round compatibility.
THE SUPREME COURT PERHAPS CANNOT IMAGINE THE AMOUNT OF BRAIN DRAIN WHICH WILL OCCUR IN INDIA AFTER A FEW YEARS OF IMPLEMENTAION OF THE RULE, AND NOW WHEN THE ECONOMY IS GROWING SO WELL IT WASNT REQUIRED, ITS IS LIKE MARRING THE TALENT POOL. I PERSONALLY WOULD PREFER TO GO ABROAD FOR MY FURTHER STUDIES , STUDYING HERE WOULD BE A LEARNING FROM CREEPERS, WHO JUST MADE TO BIG INSTIS JUST BCOS THEY ARE PREVILAGED...
No body dare to question the foresightedness of our uneducated, ugly minded, corrupt politicians in this decision...............they are hereby devising a new indirect method of population control..... the backward classes (which are typically a high children strata of the society due to their illetracy and poverty) willnow get educated and thus population growth will get under control on the other hand upper classes will be discouraged to have children as their future will be anyways bleak........so great innovative way of population control..........

Please Please// Open category should understand.. these guys will implement reservation in Pvt. sector if they are elected in 2009.. we should unite and throw them out

Dont worry. That day will come soon. Be proud to be Indian, Our politicians next step is passing marks for OBC should reduced to 25. Then no one can save our country??
