Mr.Bhushan,
You are absolutely wrong! India can come forward if all parts of the soceity is improved and per capita income of every citizen is increased. Brahmins have exploited enough by creating senseless caste system! Even today being minorities majority of power is enjoyed by them in all section of the soceity. I wonder if there is any Brahmin in the forum says instead of sto resevation system, stop caste system!

All this will be irrelevant in another 30 years when Muslims double their population to 30%. India is a democracy and nobody can stop us. Only population counts in democracy. So keep quite and pick up a Koran, you will need it.

WHAT A PITY
by Alok Srivastava on Apr 10, 2008 10:24 PM  Permalink

Son/Daughter of a General caste Clerk /Peon scores 70% and is denied a seat based on Merit . Son/ Daughter of a Top Notch Politician or IAS oficer in SC/ST/OBC scores 30% and even zero in some cases and gets a seat based on Reservation.. I throw a open challenge to those who favour this caste based reservation to deny this fact

Resevation excluding creamy layer is ok.
Otherwise my bosses in my office, my General managers, my colleague Technical managers and marketing managers in my office, other Crorepatis, India's ambassadors like Jayarams, my college colleagues who were stinkingly rich with plenty of own lands and houses.. all were enjoying MBC benefits in cut throat manner without even a minimum realisation that the benefits are for genuine BCs and MBCs.

meritocracy officially gets throw outta the window
by on Apr 10, 2008 10:19 PM  Permalink

i guess we should officially start separate IITs for students who secure admissions through reservations. i am a student from one of these institutes. n i don't wanna b treated the same as these losers who get admission solely on the basis of their birth.
oh btw, i think the phrase "people are equal in the eyes of the law" should be expunged from the constitution altogether. our laws clearly don't demonstrate anythin to the effect.... divisions based on religion, caste.... next they're gonna discriminate on the basis of the time of your birth. who knows, i mean we do have "policy makers" like arjun singh in power.
let us all help him in flushing this country down the toilet
