i would like to propose -ve reservation for brhamins.. as they took adnavtages over million years.. now they will pay the price...what about the common general cast.. they were and would be like "unwanted child off nation".. why??

I am not saying brahmins have not done bad things. They have oppressed people, no doubt. But you speak as if present day clashes were caused due to them. OBCs are the bigges culprits in the humiliation of dalits nowadays. Remember Tikait Vs Mayawati episode. Is Tikait a brahmin?

What education are u talking about? Even OBCs like Kshatriyas had Gurukul education like Brahmins. Brahmins can do only priestly jobs in those days and nothing else. Thats what i said only job reserved for brahmins is 'pujari'. You are speaking as if world was reserved for them.

OBC's are very downtrodden supposedly.But one must admit that SC/ST's are even worse off.And Muslims haven't received much quality education since the Britsh rule.Then let us get done with this facade of not keeping reservation on the basis of religion and keep some places for the muslims.Also ST's should be given free education wherever they desire(be it IIT's or IIM's) coz they r the worst off usually.
From 1947 to 2008 still we need reservation for what purpose? when such type of back pushing will be end. Govt. 100% failure to provide each man equal right from evry angle of basic needs.
I don knw what strategy is behind all this shit.. all i can say is Reservation sucks..
i just wanna ask very simple question:
Is it fair to give added benifits to a particular section of the society on account of its caste?.. if the govt really wants to improve their conditions.. then help them financially.. & this shud cover all the poors in India. ( and not only just OBCs..).. 57 yrs have passed n we still are stuck with the same crap system of giving reservations.. i ask.. y the hell du u still think reservations be given to SC/ST people..( v see even the kids of collecotrs getting reservations.. du u guys think they need such kinda help from govt.. du u think they are deprived)
i want to convey this to our gr8 politicians ( and for that matter the ministers..).. u can always make somebody sit in a higher post in any institution.. but u cant make and teach him hw to work..
if the idea behind reservations is just to increase the participation SC/ST people in higher govt jobs.. then its a complete crap.. just for the simple reason that not every person on this earth has equal/good capabilities. these posts only belong to the deserving candidates.. be it any caste and creed..only those ones whu hav the caliber shud get those positions..
speak up guys.. its a shame to such a gr8 country to still encourage craps like "reservations"...

Even after nearly61 years of independence why this reservations are continuing? It was supposed to be for 20 years to uplift the SC ST BCs. In the present scenario all the communities are doing very well in all fields. Vote politics of congress, Sp, Bsp and others are dividing our nation on caste lines. This has to be stopped immediately. Supreme court should interfere and with draw all reservations in education institutes and job sectors. MUST withdraw the reservations with immediate effect or penalise a person who is talking of reservations. 1. Obsulutely No in most of the metros and towns may be in remote villages still have some discrimination but negligible.In mumbai most of the hotels and eataries are maintained by sc, st, and OBC people but all caste and religion people have lunch or dinner on the same table. So where is the caste discrimination? 2. Every caste or religion is having equal opportunities they should compete and excel. All human beings are at present having equal brains and red colour blood. 3.A person who is suffering from polio cannot become a sprinter, poilet, doctor, engineer etc., 4.90% student can become a poilet, doctor, engineer,leiuftenant a good officer and 60% candidate can become a clerk, supervisor,attender, driver conductor because his intelligence is limited. 60% student cannot become a doctor or poilet if be force he becomes a doctor or poilet he may kill the patient or he will crash the aeroplane. 5.Any one can become sankracharya or puja

It is a BLACK day in Indian judiciary history. It is time for globalization & mutual efforts, beyond caste. Even the constitution of India provides the no discrimination clause, still there are already in Govt. services & others. BUT, now in IIT & IIMs will be effected. It simply means, if you dont have brain still u will be a IITians. So, it will effect the growth, worth & level of Institute reputation in INDIA.. "THOSE, WHO ARE BASICALLY MENTALLY BACKWORD, COULD NEVER BE FORWARD" DO WHATEVER THEY CAN DO. there should be reservation on economical basis only for ALL INDIANS............

The purpose of universities and intitutes has wrongly been understood to be brand creation for better employment opportunities. These institutes are supposed to educate the society(whether meritorious or unmeritorious) and at the same time create new knowledge for the benefit of the society.
