Killing Educated by percentage..
by SATYASAI on Apr 10, 2008 02:14 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Hi ,

Government provide them with money to learn and earn more not knowledge...knowledge can only be earned by intelligence which cannot be percentazied...by any court of LAW.

There are lot many people from froward caste who lack of money not get an admission becoz of an SC/ST/OBC with Reservations comes and sit in the class room.

I got a 500 rank in EAMCET in AP, with me a GUY from SC/ST sitting with 86,000 rank .

Please let me know how will he fare and take the country forward how many bridges he will collapse , how many tranformers will he create....

Knowledge can be shared but not the percentaized.

49.5% seats booked, SC rules in favour of OBCs

New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Thursday upheld the 27 per cent OBC quota in central educational institutions, including IIMs and IITs. However, the court said no to inclusion of creamy layer in the 27% OBC reservation.

Earlier, the bench had reserved its verdict on November 1 last year after marathon arguments from both sides.

On behalf of the petitioners, senior counsel KK Venugopal, Rajeev Dhavan, Harish Salve and others had contended that the Central Educational Institutions (Reservation in Admission) Act, 2006, was unconstitutional as the government went ahead with reservation for OBCs without identifying the intended beneficiaries.

SC Uphelding the Reservation
by H rao on Apr 10, 2008 02:13 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

I think this is one of the saddest day in Indian democracy. I can even go to the extent that democracy doesnot exist anymore in India. If democracy doesnot provide equality to all, then its of no use. Even Ambedkar wanted reservation facility for one generation and then cancelling it. But our Politician with an eye on Vote bank continued it and now Supreme court also upheld it.Its has not upheld Reservation but upheld inequality and injustice to a section of society.

The only solution left is , leaving this country. We do not want any facility from govt, just want equal opportunity and I am sure we will get that in other country.

creamy layer
by alok prakash on Apr 10, 2008 02:13 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

can anyone tell me how creamy layer is defined?

I congratulate all those crusaders who made this reservation possible.now india will certainly rise with more competent people coming into mainstream education...
i saw many OBCs students who coudnt make it to IIT or other good colleges and the main reason was money that hampered their preparation..they are not in IIT doesnt mean they are less intelligent...

Money is not related to caste. Today you find rich BCs, OBCs as well as oor General Category students. If money was the hinderence, I would welcome this reservation. You are saying economic issues (money) but still you want to bring caste here. Contradiction?

Can u pls tell me the reason for OBCs not in the IIT. They are fools and dumb. Accept this fact .Thats why even after providing equal opportynity in last 60 yrs they couldn't make it to IIT.
If with reservarion they make into IIT,only God should save this country
