Ah! Thanks for your thoughts, please allow us to return the favour by making this proposal - Convert to Brahminism and dance with divine energy in eternal bliss!

Divine energy doesn't need to bother to stop reservation. It will flow around it, nothing can stop it. Pity? Pity yourself, it may help you later on.

And yes, you are not Hindus if Hinduism doesn't have Brahminism. Brahminism is Hinduism. There is no Hinduism - it is a mirage, just a geographic term coined by the Arabs to identify those who lived beyond the Sindhu (Indus) river. Sanaathana Dharma is the other name for Brahminism. Varnaashrama Dharma, the caste system, is what you are following.

Without Brahminism, you are all non-Hindus. If you don't "want" Brahmins, you can as well rename your religion to something else.

So long!

Caste Discrimination in India
by on Apr 11, 2008 05:27 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Those looking at India through rose colored spectacles, kindly refute the following CASTE BASED DISCRIMINATION:

1. CASTE DISCRIMINATION IN INDIAN MEDIA

Upper Castes: 85%
Google "caste in Indian media"

2. CASTE DISCRIMINATION IN INDIAN CRICKET TEAM

7 Brahmins
No OBC/Dalit
Google "caste in indian team by andrew"

3. CASTE DISCRIMINATION IN BOLLYWOOD

Check last names of all Indian Actors/Actresses/Directors
Name any OBC/Dalit.

4. CASTE DISCRIMINATION IN PRIVATE SECTOR

Google for Princeton's recent study of caste bias in Indian private sector

This discrimination is only the surface of more rampant discrimination in every sector of Indian society.
To those OBCs who support the Saffron Agenda: OPEN YOUR EYES
and identify the obstacles to your progress.

Reservation
by Gokul Swamy on Apr 11, 2008 05:25 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

I went to IIT and I have seen backward class students doing really well and competing at par with the rest of us and most of them came from very poor backgrounds.

In todays scenario anybody who has a reasonable brain and can afford some expensive coaching can make it to IIT. At least the reservation policy will make sure some deserving students who are otherwise not able to compete will have a chance at showing their prowess!

They can have more reservation in Natonal Institute of Technology and less in IIT's. I have been to the USA recently. Earlier I lived there for 10 yrs. There is a strong feeling that the recent IITians are not doing as well as their predecessors in US Universities. So let the IIT's take the best and why not have more reservations in NIT, which are also good institutes. I also belong to the OBC class. When I was in India , I was for reservation etc, but after living in USA for 10 yrs, I have become a meritocracy bakt in top institutions.
