It is no use blaming the Gandhi family - it is the congress party members who forced Sonia Gandhi to come back. If Sonia had not declined then she would have become the PM of India.
The Congress Party members forget that the most successful and productive rule seen by India under Congress rule is when there was no Gandhi family member at the top of the party. Like the time when PV Narasimha Rao was the PM and Dr. Manmohan Singh was the Finance Minister.

All congress leaders feel very insecure without Gandhi leadership - all are second class leader. It is shame that in a country of 1 billion people , we are ruled by a foreign lady. I dont have personal problem with her but one understands the problems of the region if he/she brought up there. I asked to one Italian, "Is it possible that Italy will be lead by foreign born person in future". He told me that it is even impossible to become member of parliament in Italy.

This is why democracy doesnt work in India. People usually get swayed with these kind of retrograde promises and vote an idiotic government to power which will then cause long term damage to the people.
Giving some idoit lucrative offers to voters to fool proves that they really do not have any agenda to fight the election They have failed on the agenda of inflation Providing employement to the poors It also means that their talk of about BJP is communalsing the Karnataka is also false statement UPA also failed on tackling terrorism
SO they have o option but to offer some TVs and rice to fool the poors
FRee tVs: Will the govt give them 24 hrs electricity to view the TV.Both tv viewing and rice free will make people lazy. Are you creating a lazy climate. It is ridiculous that a reformist party takes to populist measures just to attract votes. Pleas have some stomach to stand up and say that let the people be not lazy. Be active. We will provide schools to all the needy and deserving will get scholarship for higher studies. Create a knowledge society. Do all the things necessary to create an environment (like irrigation, good roads, electricity, water supply, sanitation facilties). which will help people to progress on their own and without crutches. Enough of doles, loan waivers. Create ethics. Please work hard for your votes and do not come to power with cheap votes. Stop this.

Fool.. Pl. note that it is only a political party which is copying the ideas and not will be the people from Karnataka. They are much more educated and intelligent than you kongas to elect some one based on these kind of promises.. like how you guys elected DMK with 80% of majority....
Nehru sidelined or destroyed efficient people like Sardar Patel & Shyamaprasad Mukharjee from coming up. And of course nevere cultivated new leader. Only gave the power to his daughter who was trained to be a street thief.
Indira came & slept with Mujeeb Raheman & then gifted him Bangladesh at the cost of Nation...
Rajiv got a waitress to rule India...
Indian people just satisfied by short term perks like rice & tv,let the country destroyed by street thieves...

very well said this congress is bent upon ruinig the country, econmically- by giving subsidaries socially- by giving reservation based on caste,religion internationally- by ruining deals like nuclear deal, like medling intibets affiairs scientifically- by making an exodus of qualified people from expert scientific comitte
the same was followed in Tamilnadu Election in 2006 that was copied in gujarat 2007 that is again copied in karnataka 2008..what the hell with whose money these guys are playing...we are fools to pay tax
Kharge has been cheating poor peoples since many years and he corrupted all dept of our state. Now Karnataka is most corrupt state in our country. This is out come of Congress.
