At least the poor will get something
by suman nanda on Apr 09, 2008 10:42 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

At least the poor will get something. Be it once in 5 years, the poor will get it. In the communist regime, even that is not available to them.
The proof of the pudding is in eating. I hope congress delivers even this at least.

Crap Congress!
by Dr. Devaiah on Apr 09, 2008 10:37 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

What crap?! Is this Rahul vision of India where no one works and gets freebies from the government. Giving free stuff to the elderly who cannot make a living is understandable. But a stipend for the young people beats the whole purpose of building a nation on the foundation of a strong youth. Social security is the necessity of the old and infirm, not a prerogative of the young who have the strength to work and make a living. This is nothing but votebank politics. Just for this the congress ought to be flushed down the toilet for what it is... nothing but crap!

Cheap politics of Cong in Karnataka
by rajagopalan nadimuthu on Apr 09, 2008 10:29 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

By indulging in such short sighted gimmicks ,the congress thinks that it can catch power. It may work in Tamil nadu where every one is used to freebies. will it work in K'taka ? i doubt .The same slogan did not click in Gujarat.
Whose money they are squandering ? Iresponsible fellows ! . When the price increae is squeezing every one I feel that all such freebies will not cut ice. We the pepole should go to the booth and vote them out .Other wise there is no chance for India to progress.

it did they increased their vote percent by 3-4%although not enough to win seats

as they need atleast 10 % more hike in vote percent to win

in gujrat and MP and certain other states like tamil nadu, haryana, bihar etc

donot worry it is very unlikely we are getting a majority in karnataka

The beach took Rs.8 crores to transfer the then Bangalore Brihannagara Palike Commissioner Jayaraj, from the contractor lobby. She takes money from one side and transfers a part of it back to the electorate. Corrupt beach. And her corrupt coterie.

You mean congress is a follower? Follow the leader?

Then they failed in that also.

Even in 100 years they do not know how to lead, and what else do not know how to follow either.
