- The Congress attracted maximum applicants per constituency - there are virtual stampede of applicants. The JD(S) the least. - The Congress still attracts maximum defections. The JD(S) none at all. In fact, it looks that the sheep is deserting the JD(S) lock stock and barrel.
In 2004 Lok Sabha elections the BJP won more than half the seats but could not repeat the same performance for the Assembly elections. Among reasons was that in the Lok Sabha, the stature of Vajpayee came into play and not the likes of local politicians.
On basis of these pointers, the Congress seems favorites to win the elections especially with the base of the JD(S) disintegrating. The return of SM Krishna consildates the Vokkaliga vote bank behind Congress.
There is high possibility of non-Lingayata communities adopting tactical voting agaties against the BJP. These include Vokkaligas, Muslims and other religious minorities, linguistic minorities, particularly Tamils, SCs and STs
A word of caution. These pointers however remain pointers - maybe unreliable as opinion and exit polls. It could be misleading as there is over a month to voting day. A single event can change electors mood.
My real name is not ravi ravi. That;s a pseudo name. I work with the BJP office to post hate mail and also to drum up support for them. The views expressed are not really mine. I just type out printed statements given by me by BJP leaders. Otherwise I vote Congress

HATE MAIL ON MADAME SONIA GANDHI & MAJESTIC INDIAN NATIONAL CONGRESS by sudhakar sk on Apr 09, 2008 04:12 PM | Hide replies
Only a Donkey identify's another donkey; and stupidty follows it.
My observation in this Bulletin Board, that most of negetive and hate mails on Madam Sonia Gandhi are from those, who have, no base, for argument and logic to discuss these political issue.
Thus, thier frustration are uttered through illogical and un-parlimentary language.
As the popular say goes "Dogs Bark all the way, but the Mejestic Elephant, roamps through the city".

Lets vote for a stable government which lasts for 5 years. There was lot of choas when JDS didnot hand over the power to BJP as per their agreement. Moral values have gone for a toss. People better watch out before you vote.

ravi ravi, you are posing problems to madams leadeship.be careful on sunday while dealing with madam italy. she rewarded loyal young servents with minsters posts on last sunday while having awarded to their fathers on sundays everlasting place never to return.so be careful as judgement is done on sundays by this italian judge in her court.
In my view all the budda participants aging more than 60 years should not be allowed to contest an election, they are the most selfish politicians willing to just earn money by any means of power, bring up the youth participants who are willing to do some work for the people at least in their area, by vetue of which some day the whole state will become clean and prosperous.
According to me the result could be like this, This is 100% guarantee. Don't belive write it in bond paper. Seats vote share Cong(I) 75-80 33-35% BJP 75-80 28-30% JD(S) 30-35 16-18% OTHERS 20-25 14-17%

Ravishankar BJP may have a wish list. If they think they can win elections through postings in rediff, then it is the sign of a desperate party.
