BJP has some great leaders....
by jack back on Apr 08, 2008 09:16 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

First Advaniji, humble enough, swallowing abuses went to Sonia Gandhi for the Soul of Nation/Democracy.

Now Rajnath Singh, openly takes principled stand even for the political rival.

whats the bull shit jack back...how can this rajnath singh say such a thing like 'have u seen him bathe' to a woman?
mayawati could be utterly wrong here. rahul born to a catholic mother and parsi grandfather, is not a 100 years old high caste hindu doing rituals and all. and for the matter of fact most will take a bath after visiting underprivileged people's huts as unfortunately they still leave in unhygenic conditions.

Rahul may not believe in untouchability but......
by satyarthi on Apr 08, 2008 09:11 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Rahul may not believe in untouchability but the kids from rich class normally advised by their moms to wash themselves after palying with maid's kids.
Mayavati may be right in her observation with little 'twist'.
BJP president can verify this practice in his neighbourhood.

Only kids from rich are advised to wash the hands after playing?? Correct your facts. Probably all kids are taught at 3rd grade science to wash the hands after play regardless of you play with your maid's kid or Boss's kid!

Most of the children watch the advertisements of Dettol and Lifebuoy soap. So there is no need to even tell them!

All kids in India donot have access to 'bath soap advertisement'. Almost 20% Indian have income less than Rs 12 per day. This is the great divide politicians want to cash. Be it Rahul, Rajnath or Mayavati.

This is the pits!
by Kush Dashrath on Apr 08, 2008 09:11 PM  Permalink

Its bad that the CM of India's most populous state makes these statements. While she is known for making nonsense statements all along, it is indeed shameful that as CM she can continue.

This is also a poor reflection on the other parties in Uttar Pradesh, that the people of the state chose such an incompetent, ill tempered, bad mouthing and utterly classless person to be the Chief Minister. She clearly knows how to appeal to them. I think our populations suffer from a systematic malaise. How to choose from all no-good doers!

Purification
by Krish on Apr 08, 2008 08:58 PM  Permalink

Every politician needs a purification in the form of reforms. This is not going to happen in the near future.
