The Yankee Doodle!
by Chakravarthy Muralidhar on Apr 09, 2008 12:20 PM  Permalink

Americans are experts in hypothesyzing and speculating scenarios which denigrate others and trying to portray themselves as some advanced civilization implanted on terra firma to protect Planet Earth! Most Hollywood movies have this central strand, whatever be the story. Unfortunately, in the real world the US thinking, behaviour and actions are exactly the opposite. In fact, the US has not just been vily and villainous, but cold-blooded and barbaric too. Whether it is the world war or its involvement in Korea, Vietnam, Cuba, Latin America, Middle-East and the Gulf, Iran (during Shah's regime), the Balkans, Afghanistan and Iraq. In everyone of these places it has created mayhem, blood-bath, genocide, total and complete destruction of peace and destabilization of human civilization. Yet they talk and sermonise others as if they are the apostles of love and peace appointed by God Himself. Such is their boorishness and cussedness. This kind of high-brow attitude fuels the kind of 'research' that their 'intellectuals' and strategists that they come out with as a 'revelation' to play on the conscience of the the world. This kind of 'research findings' along with the Hollywood films depicting Americans as the saviour of humanity can be encapsulated in one phrase, "The Yankee Doodle"!!

What about eco damages due to Iraq and Afghan wars ?
by rajesh on Apr 09, 2008 10:15 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Why can't somebody 'pay more' to those so-called 'scientists' to study the ill-effects of American war on Iraq and Afghanistan - which caused immense eco-damages ?. The amount of heat, dust, soot and deadly chemicals generated due to conituous bombardment of these countries for years have caused irraparable eco damages amd climate changes apart from destroying billions of dollars worth oil. Any one cares to study this ?. Why the media is not raking-up this issue ?. Why the so-called liberal and democratic Americans and our own home-grown intellectuals and environmentalists don't speak a word about this ?... double standards ? or simple cover-up ?...

New and More startling findings!
by rajesh on Apr 09, 2008 10:06 AM  Permalink

More startling findings of a fresh study :

1. Majority of Americans are obese because of eating junk food and hey produce more methane gas by farting - This causes global warming -dangerous!

2. Being the mximum consumers of Viagra, Americans work ore on bed and emit more sweat - this causes more global warming and water (& beer) consumption - again depletion of natural resources.

3.....

What the heck!
by XianYe on Apr 09, 2008 08:35 AM  Permalink

The US is more likely to use N-weapons than any other country in the world. Human rights, freedom and respect for life only apply to the Americans. The US foreign polices say it all.

Nuclear weapons are over-rated, they are too dangerous to be used
by Sharad on Apr 09, 2008 01:13 AM  Permalink

In the last 500 years (starting with industrial age), the world has at best witnessed a few hundred nuclear tests and one real use of the weapon. No way, any country can get away with the nuclear weapon in a war in the future. NUCLEAR WEAPONS ARE OVER-RATED. If there is a use of nuclear weapon in the future (particularly in areas of large population), the result will be MASS ELIMINATION OF HUMANITY from the face of the earth. With so many weapons, and tit-for-tat response by countries, it will be a GLOBAL CALAMITY irrespective of where the war starts. Countries should focus on eliminating weaponisation of the nuclear energy, and focus on using it smartly for civilian use.

hilarious
India suppsoed to have 100 nuclear head and the pak around 40..where as the USA, Russia stockpile runs in to tens of thousands,

so the India, pak warheads makes hole in ozone, where as western nuclear warheads increase greenery forests LOL...

the main point here to note is that , is it not the US which turned blind eye when the commies chinses were prolifarating pirated russian nuke tech to the holy warriors, yes the jihadi pakistan...coz the pukes were helping them to annihilate USSR in Afghanistan Jihad...
