Parivar members all of them
by Sameer on Apr 06, 2008 08:34 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

These new ministers are either sycophants or wards of dead sycophants ( probably killed to make way for Sonia).
They will just lick each other while Indian poor can't buy two square meals.. 60 years of garibi hatao plan
Soon Q ka beta would rule because he is cute as per one TOI journalist puts it.

You see Samir, Congress is the foremost Bap-Beta-beti Party and the dynastic sucession is there at all the levels. Absolutely no considerations of Merit.Only Loyalty Counts! If you are a Gandhi Parivar man, you automatically become "Dynamic"!

New cabinet
by BHASKAR CHOUMAL on Apr 06, 2008 08:28 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Jyotiraditya has become minister only because he is the son of Late Madhav Rao. Now a days Manishankar Aiyar is not enjoying his congress days, earlier he was minister but of sports now he has to vacate that. He is being underutilised according to his capabilities. MSGill is not a public facem, he is now minister thats a wonder but good.

mani's fate

What is the fate of Mani. Is he out of cabinet. He should be sent to TN and ask him to do a soul search. Biggest mistake that he has done is removing Sarvarkar's palque

Dont expect a Conceited, megalomaniac like Mani to do any introspection or Soul-searching
He must be busy figuring out how to make his way back to Prliament by hook or Crook to
resume his non-stop-nonsense talk on subjects he is least qualified to comment on.

New Union Cabinet Ministers-AP left out ?
by rajendra baru on Apr 06, 2008 08:14 PM  Permalink

Sir,
two Ministers from Andhra Pradesh Mr. Subbi Rami Reddy and Mr. Dasari Narayan Rao have been asked to "Resign" , and names of Mr. Venkatswamy or Mr. Satyanarayana Rao, Telengana Congress leaders were expected to be inducted into The Union Ministry, but Andhra Pradesh 8Congressmen not finding any "Berths" in The New Ministers list is like adding "Fuel to Fire" in the case of Telengana ,whose rebellious leaders seems to have been "Tamed" by Mrs. Sonia Gandhi after their recently meeting her in Delhi.

You are prejudiced. Because someone's father or mother is a celebraty the status should not be a disqualification. Making a general comment on any action should not be there. Because of his or her background and parents if one become an expert or qualified his or her qualities should be appreciated and accepted. The selected two young members are well qualified and intelligent like their parent hence deserve posts.

In politics what you mean by expertisam. Every body who manipulate to becaome a elected Mp is expert in some form or other. A decoit or a thief is also expert in their field.

Congress is a Bap-Beta-Beti Party since Nehru and Merit plays no role in selecting the Ministerial Team. Anyway this MINISTRY is a lame-duck Cabinet under a hypocratic PM. Dont be surprised if Karunanidhi's Daughter, Pawar's daughter, etc. do dynastic sucessions and make this Cabinet a Laughing Stock of the Nation.

Former CEC entering Political post could have been avoided !
by Venkat N on Apr 06, 2008 07:58 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

A Former CEC like M.S.Gill taking up a Political post could have been avoided, in the interests of the high office he had held.

But, to look at it from a different sense, this is useful to us as citizens because it lets us know of the political orientations of people who held such high regulatory posts.....

when a CEC can join a political party almost immediately after completing his term as CEC, can it be said that he was impartial during his tenure. it is a serious matter and a policy decision has to be taken on it. already, we are witnessing a royal battle over one EC. everyone knows his loyalty.
