I really pity non jehadi muslims.funny people in modern times evry one tries to grab n impose decisions on poor in the name of islam , will the mulla listen to poor man who happens to be a muslim ?
The decision in itself has been promoted by hardline Islamic elements who cannot ever have the openess to accept that there could be a world that may not replicate their own veiwpoints! But having said that let us accept that the so called serial business that exists in India is built on 'unmitigated sleeze' It is sad that that they are aired in India and worse that they get dubbed and sent across to the other countries. There is therefore some justifaction in the manner in which Afghanisation has clamped down on such airings ! What is farcial is that madrassa educated bloggers have jumped in asking for banning then in India . Not because they disgree with the content but because they must not be seen as differing from their Talibanized bosses! Wonder what they were doing when Shiv Sena etc were demanding a similar scaling down on Valantines day . Will they wait for their above referred bosses to react before they give their agreement. The government of India and those that set the tone in Bollywood ( not very different from the serial world ) should take steps to see that sleeze is not doled out in the name artistic freedom and with the sole object of making profits. The power of the Idiot box to contaminate must not be underestimated. As a nation we must debate this ... dont expect a Burqa Dutt to do a 'We the People " on this as she did for protests against the Valentines Day !

Ok so it is Unislamic in form, not in content? I was actually happy that they were banning those stupid serials but for totally ridiculous reasons like Pictures of Hindu deities and not because the content of the serials are just plain evil. lol how gay are they?

well it would be better if muslims took time out of their busy schedules to actually try and understand the idea of symbolic worship, rather than just follow something that was said blindly. Even islam has its own symbols. When hindus go pray to the idol, they are not worshipping a piece of stone, they are worshipping the divinity that the idol signifies. like muslims "stone the devil" in Mecca. so basically youre throwing a stone at a wall. so is it just that? you can throw a stone at a wall even at home. but its the symoblism that makes it useful. like would you mind it I put my foot on the Quran? after all its a piece of paper, the same paper on which porn is printed. No! because things have symbolism attached to them, they have ideals behind them. Why do muslims pray towards Kaaba? Will God not listen to you if you pray the other way? Its symbolism once again. Christians pray to the cross. Is that stupid? they hold a piece of wood shaped like a cross around their necks. is that just wood or is there something more to it? stop being so high and mighty first, and try to undertstand other peoples points of view before jumping into prejudice.

The day is not far when even muslims may impose jahad on indian serials!!!! if india keeps on tollerating the muslim countries' humialiating indians adn hindus. Already indian muslims want seperate law for indian muslims that they do not want to follow family planing which they feel is un islamic. Only congress is feeling for indan muslims. Our prime minister spends sleepless nights for a lone muslim caught in australia and also prime minister want that muslims should have first access for all the resources in india. All IIt IMM admissions must be first given to muslims even if they are compitant or not. only when any seats left then otther casts would get No point in living in india when congress is ruling.But where else we can go!!

.....it is heartening to know that Indian Serials will get what they deserve - a good thrashing. Year after year, spinning blasphemy & bullshit, they go on & on. Giving two hoots for the viewers, these serials are aired with only one motive in mind - TRP (that too after complete SETTING with the Rating Institutes). These Manipulated TRP's are then hammered over the rooftop courtesy via the Bought Over Media.

By banning these serials, human minds will be free to think about better things of life. These serials should be banned in everywhere. Good actions should be appreciated, but of course you would like your wife to marry your friend and then then again marry you and again marry your friend and then again marry you. You would like your son to conspire against you and you will conspire against your father and ask your mom to marry your friend's father and ask your daughter to marry your friend. If you like to watch these, go on. But you ought to know that like literature, movies and serials are reflections of the society. Does these really happen in India? Ask yourself. These mullahs are not fanatic, they would like there people to remain good to as far as possible.
