What would happen if a muslim wants to follow any other faith other than islam? It is also 'no force' or 'murder' for thinking like that?

Mohamed Adnan, who says so? the mad Mullahs interpret Quran according to their convenience and there are enough contradictory verses in the same to suit their convenience.

I believe whenever there is Good, there'll be a Bad to counter it. Goodness is seen in almost all religons, and the evil is Islam, the neo disease.

Can you state what do u mean by 'true religion'?
Definition of infidel as per wiki is:
An infidel (literally "one without faith") is an English word meaning "one who doubts or rejects central tenets of a religion or has no religious beliefs
So, please do not say as if you are following truth and others are false.

Infidel is a generalized term and you have no business to put it for your religion.

I will never follow such a religion that has no tolerance value for other faiths and quote quran to justify their actions.

By calling your religion the only true religion you are insulting other religions. If you want to harbour such sentiments and also want to express them then plaese leave India and settle in some Islamic country.

Jamil Kasmani, not only you every Indian (irrespective of caste, creed, colour or religion) has the right to live here.

A separate country was created for the muslims who could not co-exist with the majority in India in 1947. Those who are in India stayed back on their free will. You cannot now claim more rights than what is available to other citizens. That is the end of the story.

Islam and Muslims have great respect for what others believe. But we dismiss all the realigions and their mythologies and consider all are fake not divinely revealed,,,,

Frelancer, nothing is divinely revealed. The Quran was to concotion of Mohammed to hoodwink his followers. It is more of a plagiarised verion of Old Testament (Torah).

freelancer,
if you believe that Allah is the only one you believe and respect, can you please answer me why are you cutting off the one which is created (given) by the same Allah? Is it because Allah is a nonsense to give that? If so, he should be a dumb and why to believe him who has given it (the wrong one) to you? Answer me if you have knowledge and if you believe that your religion is the only right one. else accept that it is a religion created for personal benefits and not a true religion. Think yourself and answer if you have guts.

What do you mean? What is your understanding of "secular nature" ? Do you think you can dominate 850 million hindus in India? India was divided into two for intolerent people like you. Why you (or your ancestors) did not migrate to Pakistan if you are not comfortable with the majority in India?

Such news makes me laugh!

"Hardline clerics have alleged that beaming of the soap operas was part of a 'conspiracy by infidels' to convert Afghans to Hinduism and told the government to act against TV channels airing Indian serials."

Too much, man! LMAO!!!!

The muslims all over the world are fond of the conspiracy theory. Their favourable theme songs are "Zionist Conspiracy" and "Islam is in danger" Even during the recently concluded OIC meeting they reiterated the age old cliche "Islam in danger" rather than introspecting and finding solutions to various problems plauging the community.

Currying favour with clerics
by Rajdeep Drohi on Apr 05, 2008 05:52 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Afghanistan is an Islamic country after all. To minimise the effect of clerics supporting Taliban, maybe the Karzai govt wants to curry favour with mullahs with these concessions like banning Indian serials. Of course its not going to help much - loyalty of Muslims should be to Islam and not to nation-states or governments. If Taliban gets the upper hand, mullahs will be only too happy go over to their side.

You are reight, Rajdeep.
We have to continue our support to Afghanistan.
Through proper education system, ignorent people of that country will come out of the clutches of the hard-liners. India has to wait for that. Hinduism doesn't demand any person's convertion into it. But one can easily understand value and importance of Hinduism in the world for peace and co-existence. Only through proper education, ideas of Hinduism can be spread out.An ignorent, illeterate society cannot digest Hinduism...We know majority of Afghan people love India and India's culture. India's culture is not derived from Middle East or from West. It's basically Hinduism. So they love and respect Hinduism indirectly.

It's not fair to generalise whole Muslims. Majority of Muslims especially in Afghanistan love peace. But in Islam, by theory and practice, clerics have the ultimate decision power. Vivek, you are lucky and blessed by the God to be born as a Hindu and also in India (not in Pakitan !).Because you can think, speak, write, interpret anything with full freedome. You can readany book..study any subject. But poor Muslims cannot do these openly. They are a conceived society by birth. But time will change any thing. Once Muslims get proper education, they will understand what is God and what is the meaning of life. Clerics won't allow them to study.. That is the contradiction.
