This looks like artificially frozen to me.
Compared to the last picture I saw which had all the rubbish embedded in it.
This looks nice and clean
perfectly formed Nature does not work like that.

Jai Bhole Baba Ki Jai.Jai Ho Shiv Shankar.Bam Bam Bhole.
The administration should act very stictly on the pilgrimes. They should not go close to ling.
Ling might get affacted by human warmness and heat generation due to mass gathering of people.
People must keep sufficient distance. In addition to that people who are intend to visit, should not throw plastic bags and empty water bottles in the himalayan valley.God will never gorgive to people who throw garbage in God's home.India is famous for dirt on the road and on public places.Such culture should be changed.

Shree Amarnathji is going to play increasingly important geo-political role.

Its located in a place where Jehadis have unleashed terror, and visit by 10s of millions of bhaktas annually, infrastructure etc is going to ensure it remains under cultural infulence of Hindus.
