Are you for real ? our govt babus and politicians would piss in their pants before the chinese.
In diplomacy, things are also shown diplomatically. Calling the Indian Ambassador (that too a lady) to their foreign office past midnight is said to be a diplomatic way of insulting the Ambassador. The Chinese may not think there is anything wrong in this (as they are not wronged). But, our own Govt seems to be gutless in protesting such an illtreatment. It is a pity that there has not been any reaction (not even a statement) from the Govt of India and none what so ever (has been reported) by the statements given by the NSA and the Foreign Minister during the telephone calls they recently had with their Chinese counterparts.
The arrogance of the Chinese has to be seen to be believed. The Chinese Ambassador says that he believes, both the parties don't see anything wrong. With CPI(M) in tow, they believe that the Congress will simply bow down to save the government (remember the famous words of karunanidhi and later Pranab Mukherjee)
Do you think they are going to sacrifice the government for ill-treatment of their lady Ambassador? No way, sir. It is important to stay in power, even if the same has to be at the cost of the country's honor and also a lady's honor at that.
