Lama's appeal
by bala sreenivasan on Apr 03, 2008 02:45 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Nobody can help a man who does not want to help himself. Dalai Lama should first be clear about his stand-he wants an autonomous Tibet within China; he does not want violence and believes in pursuation! Obviously he is trying to make omlette without breaking the egg! He should realise his nonviolence will not work with a rogue nation like China. He must take into consideration the profile of the opponent before trying out ahimsa.
Going by the statements he makes every other day, it appears he is more against his own countrymen than China, the aggressor!
Chinese are very clear and they care a tuppence for international opinion or Dalai Lama.
What India thinks in this issue is immaterial.
India's pussilanimity in any issue over the centuries is well-known for it has always been guided by the impractical Gandhian ideology. But the country, castrated into impotence, always puts up a brave front by making a virtue of of its inability to act!

It's Dalai Lama's belief, from his training in Buddhism, that he can achieve at leat autonomy for his people through peaceful methods. He may or may not succeed. That does not mean he give up good beliefs!

China's crimes against humanity
by Ariel Katz on Apr 03, 2008 02:42 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

India's stand on the whole Tibet question itself is criminal. If India were to be a mute spectator to the ethnic cleansing in Tibet, India can be accused of complicity. Chinese are no better than the Serbs in Bosnia. China should be pulled up for crimes against humanity.

BJP is the B-team of Congress excepting that they frequently talk about nationalism. Look at the stand of the party's Karantaka unit in Hoggenkkal dispute. Yediurappa talks more stridentaly than the linguistic fanatics of the regional outfits. BJP's national leadership is yet to make a statement for fear of losing the assembly elections that are round the corner.
Still you want to believe it is a party with difference?

RE:As if the world cares

You mean to say that since India's export is miniscule before China so we must meekly surrender to China's Imperalist motives and allow chinese to ruin us.

By this logic, US shares almost one third of world's GDP, so China and every other nation should not think of challenging its ill intention.

You have absolutely no sense of national pride rather your loyalty is more towards China

Dear Mr or Ms/ Mrs
I don't know & also it is not possible to know exactly about you whether you are chinese or indian. Only by keeping fake indian name you can't be indian. If you want to be indian then you have to behave like indian, you have to think like indian, you have to say like indian. What ever you are saying is not the view of indian but of Rubish chinese view.
So even 10 year child can understand that you are chinese, with pseudo name like sitaram. In this internet era person like you can pose as indian. But your actual name would be - jhang man tou, kuta mar khau, chauming lau.
Also exception is there where Jaychand was in indian history so like you who are ready to be sold bu chinese money like naxalite of india chechuri, bhagdan, bhuta-acharji etc.

Tibet crisis
by SreenivasaRao K. on Apr 03, 2008 02:28 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Since ethnically and culturally Tibetans are different from the Chinese and even conceding China ruled it for long periods of time in the past does not make it an automatic choice to rule over them for ever. All the more when Tibetans have been fighting for decades for independence and autonomy. It is important to preserve independent cultures. If China does not listen or understand it will disintegrate like Yugoslavia and Russia one day or the other. The world should take note of this and convene a round table conference on Tibet or conduct seminars and conferences all over the world to highlight the problem. It's a foregone conclusion that Tibet will become independent of China at some point of time in history. The better it is done now as once the present Dalai Lama passes away, there will be leadership crisis and extreme violence involving China and Tibet. The world should pay attention to this. It should not become another Palestine problem.

What shit are you talking.

Wthically the entire North East India are different from us. In fact the North and south Indians are different ethnically. So then should India give independence to them.
Please go and see the economic development Tibetans have had. They could never have had it without China. Some jobless Tibetans are creating issue with the support of the Americans. I am a frequent visitor to China and there is no Human rights violation at all. The only thing if we just cannot talk crap and do voolnt strikes etc which is the mian reason for the lasck of development of India.

How did you infer that there was no human rights violation in China. Did you visit the labour camps or jails in China? Human rights did not and does not exist in China. Were you born after Tinnamen Square? Please read more about China before commenting.

Tibet was an Independent nation. China occupied it with armed forces( Nehru was gunning for international glory by involving himself in the Korean War. )

Dear Shubasrikrishna, you need to study the history of India carefully. North East has always been a part of the country culturally if not politically. It is the strong undercurrent of cultural unity that has kept the nation together. India is one country and will always remain so notwithstanding quislings like you who will do anything to see it dismembered.
Take off your coloured glasses given by Mccaulay and Marxists look at the country; you will find only unity amid all the diversity that is external and deceptive.

Indian Govt shame shame
by intelligent on Apr 03, 2008 02:12 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Some days Back in Parliament one Congress MP said India must no Interfere in Tibet Including communists also
as India already declared Tibet as Part of China.

Friends, Let me remind you as indians memory are very weak.

IN Early 70s Muivah of Nagaland and there group was welcomed by Chinas Zhou.
and was given arms training which indian govt still knows.

Laldeng of Mizorams also was welcmed by Chinas Zhou in 70s

Peoples Liberation Army of Manipur was also involved in Anti Indian activities
and was welcomed by China and arms training was given to them against India. why?

China is never goin to treat or dont want to see India militarily and economically
powerful country in Asia.

India must give Arms training to Tibetan refugees, which all Indians agree and very
surprised why Govt of India is not raising its voice against violence and crackdown
happening in Tibet.

People of India is Never going to forgive INdian Govt,
From Nehru till Vajpayee all have shown there softness against china.

George told last week that it was NDAs error and not mistake for declaring tibet
as part of china by Vajpayee. I will not only I people of india will ask did
Vajpayee drink Whisky that time?. Still India needs to shift Tibet Policy.

People of India is Biggest fools in this world which China and US both knows.

When people of India put faith and elected NDA Govt they done injustice with
Hindus especially. and Sh Ram Mandir still hanging due to which 1000s
