Not sure if it's all true. But I trust your sources and it's allright. We accept our filthy and tainted past. But tell me - "have never tried to pursue Muslims / Christians to convert to Hinduism." Have we exploded bombs on Eids / Muharrams ? Why are we being targeted? What have we done ? We let these muslims stay back in India during partition (now don't say it was Nehru, because it was Indian publich who chose Nehru as leader). So at the end of the day we Indian public is responsible at the biased society we are seing everyday.

Sameer, you seem to be a leanrned person, but I cannot understand you ability to understand the boorish. Do you come from some village or a primitive area. You got preached somewhere, where the quoted things are subject of highlighting. These are definitely not part of the Balmiki Ramayana. Now don't go to someone to get preched that Balmiki Ramayana is not the original epic.
You are only trying to say what most of us know are not true and my sincere advise to you is to stop reading such useless books and indulge in constructive ideas.

Very intolerant. i have friends from all faiths and are true friends. me a hindu living in riyadh, never ever i faced a problem. come on guys lets stop bashing, lets do our bit, let stand united against the threats to our country and resolve any problems amicably. whats the point jumping at each other throat at the slightest provocation. hatred will lead to killings, i cannot imagine me being a killer or murderer. I will never ever do that, so why instigate others!! dont you think we are contributing to someones death somewhere, it could be small 3 year old, an innocent child, and i am contributing to that childs death by spewing venom on this board. please stop this!! religions are for peace and not for war. i personally know true muslims are outsatnding people, i ahve experienced that!!

Ramanaya also recounts the story of king Dasaratha who, in order to have a baby son, made a big sacrifice (yagam) of sheep, cattle, horses, birds and snakes. He then delivered his three wives Kaushaliya, Sumatirai and Kaikeyi to three priests. These holy men, having fully satisfied their carnal desire, returned the ladies to the king. By this means, the king was able to have three sons-Ram, Lakshman and Bharat (Bala Kandam, Chapter 14. For more details on yagam, refer to the book "Gnana Surian", published by the kudi Arasu Press.) Does it mean Rama was born to a Brahmin? The Ramayana tells us much about the unlawful relationship of incest but we do not feel it appropriate or decent for ut to go in details (Please refer to Aranya Kandam, chapter 45 verses 122, 123, 124, & 125).

If Rama loved Sita so much and Sita is held as an ideal Hindu wife, can Hindu women tolerate their husbands leaving them in forest for the years? Rama left Sita in forest after se became pregnant and she delivered er two kids in forest. (DR. B. R. Ambedkar : Riddles in Hinduism Maharashtra Govt. Publication, 1987).
