Kindly clarify the religious order the offender priest belongs to. If he is Hindu, I can shout from roof top that Hindu religion is corrupt. If he is from one of the minority community, I can say abject poverty and discrimination drove him into committing the crime. I can go a step further and move the Human rights Commission to save the priest. Please advise
The sun news channel yesterday used the word "padiriyar", which implies he was a christian priest. You can go ahead with your plans to save him. Maybe you need not worry. English press will do the job for you.

On the other hand, the victim family's names might have contributed to the lack of the usual abusive messages we have become used to. Their religion is not mentioned, but we good indians are used to deciphereing religions from names, and imputing motives based on those religions.
I know, names can be misleading, the pastor here does not have a typical name for people in his religion.
