Indians being a guy from a state where Rain in less and dependant on other States I agree that giving water is a real hardship . Instead of violence by both side people should resort to a Peaceful resolution . There is a place near madurai where a whole town of people who speak kannada. People have been living peacefully side by side for years. Let politicians not decide our future. There is a whole bunch of young educated people in this country, let them become active .I have lived in US for 8 years and even here there is huge water fight between Georgia and Florida , but it does not become violent. People of all walks of life sit down and decide which state needs which quantity. Bangalore is a very nice friendly people i have visited many times. Let this be done by a peaceful resolution. I have had some very good kannada friends throughout.
This message is not for my good kannada neighbors. But this is just for Mr. Ananth Kumar, doesnt Deva Gowda and his son kumaraswamy look like tamils. Talk with Maturity , first look at your own before you point fingers at other people. These are all the reasons INDIA is India.

I am a tuluva and both Tamils and Kannadigas are my brothers. We come from a common ancestor. Both are dravidian languages. Stop this fighting and lets develop India.
I saw nearly 8 tamil nadu buses were ransacked adn badly damaged int eh bangalore housur border...counter attack is the best way to give back.All the time when ever there is court result or any of political issue between these 2 states tamils in bangalore are attacked and also no tamil channels and no cienima...well done Tamil brothers this time by counter attack.
Kannada activites are not protesting they actually dn't have support they theaten their own people to join the protst else thier shops will be attacked.Live example most big stores in bangalore are shelded with nets.Thier own cable operater offices are attacked bsce they telecasted tamil channels. This is time to giv back.
Tamil Nadu and its regional political parties are ruining the harmony of Indian life. When it comes to Sethu Project - they challenged the existence of Lord Rama and his disciple Hanuman. Tamil Nadu CM went to the extent of asking - from which Engineering college Hunumanji graduated to build a Sethu? He went on to say that Lord Ram was a selfish drunkard!! Minister Balu ensured that all Railway projects went to TN. In that proces he also ensured that Kerala & Karanataka were denied of their share of Railway-developments. When it comes to Cauvery issue, they are not thinking of a tripatriate solution between, TN, Karnataka & Kerala. Instead they want a monopoly! They went to Supreme Court! TN does not want a peaceful solution. They want to flex their muscle with its neighbor. In the case of Mulla Periyar, even though the river not even an Interstate river, they want to control Kerala and want all the waters of that river without a scant respect for the people of Kerala. Now, TN even blocking Kerala's effort to build a dam in their State to save the life of people under threat of the age old Mulla periyar dam. TN tried to tame Kerala by denying movement of essential commodities from TN to Kerala and made Kerala's life difficult. Now it is the turn of new dam across Karnataka's river without even consultation with Karnataka. This rude behavior and muscle flexing of TN must be stopped. I think, Karnataka needs help from the Centre to deal with TN. Kerala and Karnataka are not to
