well wh r we letting these parochial tendencies let us take to a point where we fight even with our brothers...why r we sacrifing the larger interests..its time a holistic solution to water problems is addressed...water needs to be made a national resource...and the best and optimistic use of it has to sought for...shame on people who hate eachother.....why cant u think before posting ...ur hate leads no where

Always regional politicians fuel this kinda opposition..just to show thier regionality...
all thier son & daughter studying in English medium or forign schools... put the rule for everyone to read in regional language...
this hogenakal.. another example..for fueling opposition to each state by local politicians...
Now fight between states... Ask everybody to go thier state between countries... Ask everybody to go thier own country... (if this happens U think, how the world will be)...?
Then, Dont allow anybody in the street where u r living.. Then, dont allow ur brothers enter into your rooms....

Come on, do not get so emotional! It is easy for people like you to say such things from the cozy comforrts of your A.C cabin. But it is the poor people on either side who are hurt. All of us can only feel sad there are so many uncivilized brutes in both the states. And the Government is a helpless spectator!?

Hari mind your words.The best President , The best Finance Minister were all tamils . Tamil nadu has no water , no natural resources but yet hard work and determination of the tamils made it the best of all southern states . It is tamils and telugus who made banglore the software hub . Development in Karnataka happens only in Banglore . TN has 7 industrial zones spread across all over TN . Don't be jealous of tamils , but work for your own upliftment.

Dear veeru it was Karunanidhi who secretly planned the dam in disputed area of hogenakal so that they can swallow it fom Karnataka.They run and oppose each and every plan of karnataka in cavery basin and complain to cauvery authority.Such people why hided this dam issue from Cauvery authority.He thought there is no Governament in Karnataka so wanted to utilise the situation. Coming back to drinking water ,the same Tamil nadu stopped the cleaning of Ponds and lakes in three districts of Karnataka which were near to Cauvey(not belonged to River) fearing that Karnataka may store river water there and create shortage.you know each and every village has pond or Lake and if it is not cleaned what will happen to villagers. Finally it was Karunanidhi who called Kannada people as Lingustic in public meeting and te whole world knows who are linguistic people. if they people feel kannadigs are linguistic then why cant they accept hindi as National Language. I really dont think there is any flaws in the information given by me and I do not suppot the quarrel between TN and Karnataka
Dear sir,The violence with regard to Hogenekal water project is sad reflection of our inability to solve issues through dialogue.Even Court verdicts are not adhered properly.It is high time that centre take urgent action to avoid further eacalation of violation.Centre may also promulgate ordinance to end violence.These damages will fall on people in the form of tax.

The reason is Tamilnadu wanted to take the water from Karnataka when there is no govt in the state. DMK is supporting ruling party in center expect the same cooperation from them. DMK felt that this is the good time to pull the plug and not even bother to inform the Kaveri tribune .Karunanidhi - Old man is a most cunning person . He hates Rama for his own evil purpose and he hated Kannadigas for not giving him wwater. Wheere are you Mallya/ Why don't you open up some shendhi(liquor) shops in Tamilnadu ? Let them enjoy.
There are parasites at the same time they are like a muslims in hindu community.
