Why these people not thinking to be self sufficient. why they fight with Karnataka ?
these people are forgetting one point. Karnataka farmers have lost thousands of acres of land to build the reservoier. at that point of time TN farmers were sitting silently so that they can enjoy the cultivation. now why they fight for water ? Let every one should go for rain harvesting and other methods to be on their own

self sufficient? do you know its meaning? you the the first person in the world to talk about self-sufficiency of water. The central goevrnment should appoint you are the water resources minister and let you implement your bright ideas to make each state 'self-sufficient' in water and other resources.

He never said anything provocative regarding the Hogenakkal issue. He just said that TN is firm in implementing it. The Kannada fanatics cannot bear this and trying to get political mileage to secure votes in the upcoming elections.
