Tamil Nadu -Contributes 80% to 90% of India's total safety matches & fireworks production. Tamil Nadu -Has 60% of India's total offset printing solutions Tamil Nadu -Sells surplus power to neighbouring states of Andra Pradesh & Karnataka.
Banglore == Karnataka. Tamilnadu == Tamilnadu.
Development in different areas & spread to entire TN. Tamilnadu's contribution to India is enormous. Tamilians occupied key portfolios(6 Cabinet Ministers & 7 Minister of Sates) in Indian Ministeries. If Tamilians not cultured, these cannot be achieved.
You could not form a government on your own(Cheap politics of JDS & BJP). You no were in the list to talk about Tamilnadu & Tamilians. Power, Water, etc. are all National Resource. SHARED by INDIANS.
Change your paradigm. Walk towards India's Development.

Ok Here it goes... 1) Detroit of Asia: Cheap labour , yes sir. Just a few good jobs..nothing more.not a very big contribution
2)textile and cement...lets give some credit
3) to 8)...they dont really matter..
Overall contribution, just as any other state.. so shut your mouth .... And this is exactly the problem..while every other state has enormous contribution..its only TAME-ILL people who trumpet with their limited contribution..so once again Shut it...

Why no BIG software enterprises originating from Tamil nadu?
There are number of reasons for that. There are three group of businessmen available as of now. 1. Family inherited business class 2. Enterpreneurs with rich family background 3. Enterpreneurs with no penny and having more innovative ideas and they are risk taking people
The first one, Family inherited business classes are plenty in Tamilnadu. especially Automotive components manuafacturers like TVS, Amalgamations, Murugappa so on., Their family's present younger generation are less risk taking and not properly understood the running software enterprises. They continue their family businesses and flourishing with new modern technologie and they are surviving in spite of more talented people leaving to IT company. Mostly these people are minority, upper class Brahmins/chettiars , highly affluent people.
The second one, there are number of young enterpreneurs with rich family background starting their own businesses away from the areas where their fathers/forefathers were doing so far. Some of the Naidu (whom are highly blended into Tamil Culture) /Nadar families are running highly sucessful other businesses. But I don't know about HCL , founded by Shiv Nadar falling into this category. Not many these kind of people thought about software as a Business opportunity.

KA is poking its nose in TN's internal affairs of its Hogenakkal project.
I don't understand why KA is bothered how TN is going to use the water after reaching the TN side!! The Kannada activists seem so ignorant to not understand the fact that even if there is no project in TN, they have to release the prescribed quantity of water as per the rule.
