RE:Why a seemingly useless comment from a politician has so much public support in Bangalore?

At the same time, politicians like Karunanidhi who gives inflamatory statements has put their daughters in KA, their MPs speak Hindi in parliament and he himself writes Hindi poetry. However, when it comes to TN everything changes. It is tamil all the way. Again nothing wrong with that, but why to thrash other cultures, why not to accept people from all parts of India and why to force them to speak in Tamil when they are in Chennai.
Now that you have started it, Tamilians, you are getting the return of it. It will not go away. First change your outlook and come out of the well. As N. Karthikeyan (from TN) tells "Tamil society is a closed society".

First change your outlook dude. I agree with you that Hindi Boycott has done harm to Tamils. Kannadigas are not people who mingle. They dont have anyother political agenda for the election and using this as milage for election. These attacks didnt start in TN. It started only in Karnataka. Because of this attitude of Kannadigas only Tamils dont speak about Bangalore in a high respected manner. Come to Chennai and see, you can find the tolerance of people. You cant find that with Kannadigas in Bangalore.

You talk about tamils being narrow minded but thats how you seem. You seem to have some disturbing stereotypes of tamilians.
Please remember that Karunanidhi's opinion on hindi is not the opinion of all people from Tamil Nadu. And how small minded can you be to claim that tamilians come to Karnataka only for the money. Please go and change your petty attitude.
These political sects from both the states should be countered and that is possible only if people from Tamil Nadu and Karnataka stand united.

No, Kannada People are also very good and intelligent. But they rarely venture outside their State with the fear of insecurity. They had bee until recent times under the Maharaja of Mysore, Savanur, Coorg, Ghorpades and like to be lead by nature. They shirk out the opportunities available elsewhere, whereas others especially Tamils, Keralites and Bengalis now Hindis go out for better prospects. Having served in karnataka in a Central Govt Organisation, I was surprised to see that the Kannadigas refuse their promotions with transfers, even within their own Satte, and within a radious of 100 KMs. Let them come out of their shells and mingle with all others. They will find the world is having better opportunity. Dear Kannadigas, please avoid teasing all others, particularly Tamils and Malayalis, Hindi walahs. They come here because you have not ventured to occupy that positions. May peace be with all of us at this turmoil moment.

this is the problem with tamilnadu. in b'lore no responsible person was involved in the vandalising, in contrast, in tn CM himself and other responsible person like layer are involved in the vandalising. kanndigas are very cool, u r just taking advantage of it. The state itself is still now immerged in casteism and u r taking about better than any Indian state %u2013 really joke of the day :)

If one sees the meaning of words given to the places in our country then it can have better understanding of which state or language. Holding to your 1930's agenda Hogenakal is a word coined in Kannada meaning Smoke Stones as the region is covered with stones and water forms the smoke.
No state can now survive without people from other states. people from other states are a sizable part of population in free india. if such agitations become the norm it will be only chaos in our country. do they think that kannada speaking people are not there in other states or for that matter raj thackeray thinks marathis are absent in north india?

An Useless comment from Karunanidhi and Public ----------------------------------------------- support from Bangalore ------------------------
Here is an useless comment from Karunanidhi and see the support in Bangalore.
The only thing which hatred brings is more hatred. Nothing else.
Not only Kannadigas, but almost all people from all other states have supported removal of Tamils.
Tamils have actually started it when they opposed Hindi. I personally think nothing wrong with that. However, the question is about accpetance. And they did not accept, even if some of the things from Hindi are really good.
Some of the best known singers, writers, artists from TN are virtually unknown across India due to this narrow mentality. M. Vijayalakshmi though a very talented singer does not hold the same recognition as a Lata Mangeskar does. Another very talented artist Vikram do not hold the same respect as a Shaharukh Khan does (a very mediocre actor as he himself has accepted). And many more.
Coming to Karantaka, Bangalore has seen explosive growth as Kannadigas have far more accepatance capability added to intellectual capability. They have accpeted people from all across India. So even Tamils find it comfortable to stay after 1992 riots. The city offers so much diversity.
Now that Tamilians are in Karantaka, love the state in which you stay. I really doubt they like Karantaka. It is all about money and they will flee after that.

You are talking about acceptance? Rajnikanth is a super hero than any other. Here people willing to accept him as CM. Miss Jayalalithaa is our ever CM . We forget many actors are from karnadaga. Noe Mr. Viyayakant a Telugu Tamilian striving for CM.We already allowed Malayaleee, Telugu & Kannadaga to rule us. What else? Can you tell us any other state like us?

And if you talk with a Tamilian here in Bangalore it is all about Chennai and TN.
At the same time, politicians like Karunanidhi who gives inflamatory statements has put their daughters in KA, their MPs speak Hindi in parliament and he himself writes Hindi poetry. The ugly happenings in karnataka triggered by oldman yediurrapa for personal gains is a national shame stunned @ the parochial mindset this kind of nonsense never happened during the regime of MGR & hegde the cauvery dispute could have been easily solved but for characters like wily karunanidhi who will never try to solve this issue for his diversionary tactis will foment this issue the call of the hour is to foster unity among the people of two states pandit jawaharlal nehru must be blamed for structuring India on linguistic basis national leaders like Atalji, Advani apostle of national integration of rivers must advice yediyurappa ro shutup or else India would Balkanise like sovietunion .
