We naturally blessed by welth. No need to work hard. Smart working is enough. When you welth we can hire cheap labours for building work and cleaning. Like britishes took gor Srilanka and Malayasia. The people do not get food in their own land come to other states as labours. Naturaly they have to be hard working. It is not great.

Hi Chinnanai & Hari Balaji
Why you both act like the political parties, and the same way these goanda elements are doing in street and the cities. Each an every state in India got there on identity and help in the development of our countries. My friends are from all across in the world and they see India as one identity, when ever we cross boundries we realize all theses. The solution never come out with hate and damaging the properties of any one, it will only demoralize the state of economy. I request the reporter also not to write the headline like tit for tat. Kindly do something which make our country a lovable one with economy more stable.
Thanks

Hari wanted to convey the same message to you Chinnai, there are many things that you don't know about TN too.

Respect others' cultures and learn 'Integriy in Diversity' phenomena.

PS:Sorry for about spell-mistakes if any.

I have been in TN for over 6 years and have travelled all across TN, Chennai, Sivakashi, Trichi, Kanyakumari, Tiruneveli, Madurai...

And I know what you do to national integration. And how much you respect other cultures.

Nowhere in India I was asked repetedly where I belong to, am I from North, do I speak Hindi, why do not you speak Tamil etc.

Glad that you came back Alive.Tamils are great, aren't they?!!

Answer is already there,when you are in Rome,be a Rome.In Japan,be a Japanese.In Tamil Nadu,be a Tamilan.

Of course,Tamils will respect each others' culture if they travel out side Tamilnadu. They don't ask you to LEARN TAMIL when they are in Mumbai. They know the importance of others' Mother Tongue too.

Cheers and next time when you travel to Tamil nadu, learn to speak little Tamil too. They will be very happy and will be your slaves. :-)

Hey Hari Balaji,,
Hard working means people are fit to be labourers not as managers or administrators....
And yes companies will establish in a place where they find good skilled LABOUR..

Sridar,(I don't mean to disrespect your name though)A country can't be successful if it doesn't have any LABOURS.Take Japan and China for example. Most of these people are hard-working(more than 12 hrs a day),and there are plenty of fisher-men too. They are proud of their culture and language too. They are considerably successful than Indians-except Sridar 'cuz Sridar is a day-dreamer and doesn't accept Reality.Rajiv Gandhi used to be like this but Rahul Gandhi is learning the reality in India, slowly.

If your state is full of millionairs and don't need hard-working labours, please get out of India 'cuz WHAT Tamils are doing is FIGHT FOR WATER in so-called Third largest Economy in the World.

"Not a single software company of repute is from TN."
What a joke !. Cognizant, Covansys, Polaris many more , all from Chennai.
TCS's major activity is in Chennai.
Wipro, Infosys, Satyam .. all have major campuses in Chennai.
World Bank, AIG, Ford, Verizon, Sony-Ericcson, ABN Amro, StanChart, Citibank and many more have based IT exclusively or largely out of Chennai

R u an INDIAN, R u educated... What history u know. Go back to school and study the history. Just by doing some course and coming in to IT doesn't mean u know everything.. Idiot.. These kind of people are there everywhere in INDIA irrespective of Tamilnadu or Karnataka... Don't become prey to politicians. Atleast we educated has to think & get united & solve the issues and stop fighting.

From Himalayas to Kanyakumari it is ours. Our forefathers sacrificed their lives to get us this freedom. If we would have done that we will come know the pain of it. Today we are able to talk like this since we have freedom. Don't forget that.
Let us get united & work for it growth.

Have u ever heard of these kind of thing in US? How they r solving the water & natural resources sharing issues? They call themselves as American not like I am californian etc...They work everywhere across America peacefully, irrespective of which state they belongs to.

Think in a right way to solve the problems in INDIA. -- Sathish

Ban regionalism
by G Periswami on Apr 03, 2008 09:31 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

If this country has to survive as a single nation any political party based on regionalism should be banned.Only national parties should be allowed.Language, religion, caste etc, should not be allowed for political manipulation.Only economic policies should dictate politics.Prolifiration of parties should be kept under check.Otherwise we will end up as another Yugoslavia.

Tamilnadu or Karnataka will never ask for a separate country. They are simply fighting for water. The northern states do not know about water problems because Ganga and other rivers in the north are perennial. But if what ipcc predicts comes true, and gaciers melt, you will see what north indian water fights will look like. Tamil Kannada spat would look much more decent then.

Stop intra Indian fighting
by Harish on Apr 03, 2008 09:30 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

This fighting has to stop. The only solution for this is to break up states into further small states for better adminstration. BJP has all along advocated this. Maybe the congress/communists swine are behind all of this. India needs BJP government without support of any other party or NDA members
