I am still Chief Justice, says Iftikhar Chaudhry!!
by Viswanadh on Apr 01, 2008 04:39 PM  Permalink

Though it appears rhetoric, the utterances of Justice Iftikhar has significance. In any country's history, this kind of extremism shown by individuals can be understood as the process of evolution, evolution of the civil society.

chief justice of pakistan
by BASAGONDA HANAMAPURE on Apr 01, 2008 04:37 PM  Permalink

As he was /is chief justice of democratic country and when the democratic government came into power successful majority the govt must reinstate judges of all courts as allow the judiciary to do its duties .
I hope the pakistan govt must reistate the judges as they were deposed by underestimated self styled commander in a public run government .therfore the amendments made by such a commander are not to be implemented in democracy.
