Kannadiga Underclass has a Minority Complex
by Singha on Apr 02, 2008 07:09 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

(1) Karnataka is a state where kannada speakers are in a minority (unless andhra, maharashtra, gujarat and Kerala).

(2) Tuluvas, Kodavas, Konkanis, Marathis, Tamils, Telugus and Muslims together have a larger foot print in Karnataka.

The minority complex (like in Mumbai - MNS goons) triggers fascist violence by kannadiga under class.

Steps to stop this madness in India are

(1) Break large states into smaller ones
(2) Make cities like Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Kolkata Union Territories
(3) Nationalise Rivers

Without these steps, interstate disputes (remnant of foolish linguistic reorganisation of states) will remain continuing problems for India.

I appreciate your ideas. However, breaking larger states into smaller ones may not really solve the issues as again the same from smaller states start fighting against each other for resources and it will be a never ending story. Making cities as union territories is good idea. However, the goons from MNS may again say Mumbai is for Maharashtrians and the story will go on. The division of India based on linquistic lines, creation of caste based reservation and non-nationalisation of natural resources were the blunder of Congress government under Nehru and that is what affecting us very badly. If you look at countries like United States or Australia, even though they do not have language issues, they do have issues protecting their states. But the states were not devided like India. If it is again divided on the basis of pure language split, Bidar should have been part of AP, Tirupati should have been part of TN, Adilabad should have been part of Maharashtra, Surat should have been part of Maharashtra, Sangli should have been part of Karnataka and part of Goa should have been under Karnataka or Belgaum should have been under Goa. Most important think is that politicians should be penalised sereverely for bringing these issues and creating a havoc in the middle of people and law should be like Chinese law to protect everyone. Indian politicians are making nonsense of democracy.

Breaking up states into smaller states and U/T would mean more suffering to the people. It would more netas and more babus to suffer, more spending for setting constructing assemblies, Raj Bhavans and govt offices. More corruption in genral! And more political goons floating around!! So please do'nt give these ideas to politicians! They may relish this novelidea of making big bucks!

I think ur buddy was making a larger point. it is unfortunately some third rate Telugu politicians who encouraged by nehru triggered this linguistic madness.

This was done by nehru to spite C Rajagopalachari Iyengar, former strongman of South India.

Latr on Nehru played the same politics to undermine Chavan and Morarji Bhai in Bombay presidency.

somebody has to control the politicians
by delguy on Apr 02, 2008 07:07 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

As politicians are least sited, very wild, goons and total idiots, somebody has to take control over them what they say. We see it everytime and general people suffer and politicians are always together behind the scenes. I sincerely thinks that army should play a role now as supreme court tried to do something but couldnt do,,

Its not the job of Army to come into picture, there job is to protect the borders. Its our job and we should be more sensible not to be part of such irrational situations like the present issue of karnataka and Tamilnadu. Politicians take advantage becoz we provide them that ground so no need to blame them its our job and we should take the responsiblity.

Question for our Karnataka brothers
by on Apr 02, 2008 07:05 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

1) Did you hear same thing any time happened in tamil nadu? that is abusing other states people...? for your info in TN also lot of other indians are their.

2) Even when KN burned TN buses and killed 2 people in the Housur boarder just 6 months before...did TN burned or destroyed any KN buses ? surely no... that shows the difference.

3) Do you think KN and its people is richer and TN is poorer? so do u think thats y TN people comes to KN because of no choice?

4) For your info TN also have same water problem and border problems with other states, but the issue didnt went until like with KN...Why? same time what ever problem KN have with other states goes to very ugly stage..why? Because of over reacting KN peoples.. and no other state in india over reacts like KN..

5) Is any state have its own flag like KN ? Is any state celebrating its own state independence day like KN?

6) Is any state ban other india channels, medias, movies...etc like KN ? ... where Pakistan used to do same like KN

7) See the history.. never ever minorites in TN attacked or insulted b4, even if others do.

8) Why KN is fighting for border with other states like Pakistan. You should feel as Indian not anything else.

We are having lot of opportunities to grow and compete with other countries not to fight with ourselves and keep going poor. Come on we Indians have only strength of being united and don%u2019t kill that. Lot of leaders given their lives for this%u2026 don%u2019t destroy it%u2026jai inida !!

In a democratic country like ours, we should have the spirit of give and take. We have plenty of people with such intentions. Only difference is that karnataka is always giving and others are always taking (rather, demanding). Implement Mahajan commission's report (mind you, Late Meherchand Mahajan was appointyed at the insistence of Maharashtra) & at least Karnataka will keep quiet. Give a fair share of Kaveri water to Karnataka and demarcate the Hogenakkal area clearly and see the result. While everyone wants Karnataka to stop adding more projects in the Kaveri delta, Tamil Nadu seems to be an exception. They want Drinking water to Dharmapuri district, which is a noble idea. At the same time, they do not want any project to supply water to Mysore, which is located next to Krishnaraja Sagar dam to come up. It is such policies of the Centre (which is doing for its own survival) like these and allowing TN ministers in the centre to plunder the central wealth at the cost of other states and other appeasement policies that have angered the people of Karnataka.

"Give an fair share to everyone, live and let live and have the philosophy of give and take" - all these do not seem to be available in the vocabulary of Karunanidhi. TN is like China wanting to have its way all the time and KN is like its president.

Mr. On... The same you when talking about one india did not raise any voice when China occupied so much of land belongs to India... Nor you spoke a bit when POK. Even after the border settlement was done in 1955, TN has kept on extending the border illegally. Hogenakal belongs to KA but TN now claims it has its. KA wished to start the same project at MEKEDAATU, this TN brought all pressure from the CENTRE and stopped it. Now, TN is doing the same. And the situation is now vice-versa.
If you go to TN you can communicate only in TAMIL, then only you are replied. The same in Andhra & Kerala. Whereas we people kannadigas speak in all the south indian languages and greet them when they come here. Because we are liberal. Thatswhy Kannadigas are less populated in BANGALORE(30%). Do not speak unknowing facts.

Tamilians never touch large section of people of kannadigas in TN because from the ancient times our principle is give shelter to others from out side TN. Morover we have a sixth sense to analyse all the things. But as far as my concern kannadigas never brought up by a broad minded people. They will abide even small leader saya whatever he wants. World history says water will be shared according to the no. of KM a river is runnings, but KN will not at all accept this because they all well set fools

KP,you are wrong. just go and check the facts
it's only in tamilnadu you can finish your schooling and collge without taking tamil as a language. you can take hindi, telugu, french whatever language you want. this generating students know to speak in tamil but they can not write in tamil. this is what the real situation is. but you peeople are blindly condeming tamilians .
what happened 30 years back(anti hindi riots)
was at that time the central government to implement hindi as a compulsory language in schools and that's why those things happened.
there are lahks and lakhs of students studing hindi in schools now. and that's not compulsory
that's the point

Do you call it acceptable when your DMK minister sat on the road and blocked traffic, including two ambulances, from entering Kerala on Nov. 24, 2006? This happened on the Kerala Tamil Nadu border near Coimbatore.
Have sensible leaders, not morons who prostrate in front of pictures of your great 'leaders'. Tamil Nadu has shown a streak of selfishness every time the issue of water has come up, whether it is Karnataka or Kerala. Tamil Nadu does not mind rour districts in Kerala being washed away if te Mullaperiyar Dam bursts, but must have the unsafe dams height raised to accommodate its interests.
Please learn to live with what is available by sharing it with all proprotionately.
