by narayan on Apr 01, 2008 05:32 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Only CPI(M) can save this country by taking bold and impartial decisions. They have good leaders. Other party leadres are very much corrupt and communal. They themselves stats communal riots for the sake of power. Remember how all these Rath yathras and all happening, just for power.

The most stupid party in this nation is CPI-M. They fight Congress at state . They win and support congress at center. They speak loud that they are pro-poor..with people ...no price hikes...benefits for poor...no nuclear deal...but just voice it to get votes...do nothing and rather support things which are againts what they speak.......

Independence re-written
by R Balasubramanian on Apr 01, 2008 05:30 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Both Congress and BJP are national parties have their base in majority of the states and people are aware of the parties principles and capabilities to run the nation.

It is high time with BJP having projected Advaniji as PM candidate and Sonia with her son Rahul are prudent and adapted to the requirement of indian electorate, it would usher a new era in indian political history if both the parties join together and run the government in the coming general election. Let it be a gift to the people of india for the 60th/61st independence of the country. Can this happen? Yes if these two parties really have concern and love for this country. The rest of the sundry parties are only time and caste servers and cannot be relied to run a smooth government with their support.

Balasubramanian -- Bangalore

I agree with you. But who will bell the cat. Who will become PM. This Same PM issue divided India & Pakistan earlier also. But your dreams come true, the communism and other regional parties extinct from the Indian Political secnario. That will be most wonderful thing and there won't be any looking back towards india's growth in all fields. But why election needed. It is just BJP has to support India's Nuke policy with some amendment required by BJP. That will be slap on the face of the communist leadership. But will that happen???????

under Advani leadership, this will really happen and nuclear deal will go through which will be only beneficial to our country. Congress made the greatest blunder by taking the support of both DMK and Communist who are just opportunist and the Congress is facing the heat in silence.
Regarding the PM post, whichever party gets majority of seat, the candidate from that party will be PM and the other will be DPM.
Let all indians cherish that this happens and the first person to be happy will be Abdul Kalam sir.

Communists my foot
by jaideep shirali on Apr 01, 2008 05:27 PM  Permalink

Leave aside their political double speak, these Commies will do nothing related to the basic principles of communism. The peasants and workers mean nothing to these guys. Farmers can continue to commit suicide in Vidarbha, while the unorganised sector can see continued exploitation of labour, it scarcely bothers them. These guys would rather shout themselves hoarse for PSU and Govt babu unions. Karat & Yechury have also learnt well from Sonia. Stay out of government and abuse power, without the responsibility.

This is already known, outside support only to keep BJP at bay. Hope wisdom will prevail on these two giant political parties, that they come together like PAK in order to serve the nation in right spirit, instead of mud slugging for their vote bank.

Pests of India
by Janakiraman R on Apr 01, 2008 05:24 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

The electorate of West Bengal and Kerala are to be blamed for having elected these pests to Parliament. Having around 50 seats, they hold Government to ransom and block good deals like Nuclear deal. They never say a word agains China whether China criticises Prime Minister for visiting Arunachal - a part of India or for the brutality on Tibetians.

Theses pests are one of the main reasons for India not growing as fast as it can.

Have u heard any interview of BJP (where it says its) opposing the deal. The BJP is also in favour of US and India collaboration for vast spectrum of things. This is not possible with (collaboration) with Russia or China. And one more thing since US and India are great democratic countries, better performace can be expected.

Well the point here is not that BJP is great or something. Left always gives feelers that its anti-development and china biased. This is a known fact. BJP on its part is indulging in petty politics of votebank here. However Left inspite of its clout is holding the government to ransom by blackmailing.
