Need Ban on Karnataka Boder Security Force
by tamil on Apr 02, 2008 05:50 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Its really funny to see there is an org in karnataka to safe guard its borders
"Akhila Karnataka Gadi Horata Samiti" (an organisation for protection of State's borders)
Its better to put them in JK border to protect our country rather than these ppl eating the tax paying moneys & disturbing the near by states.

Ya,, Kannadigas needs an organisation to protect their boundry because ordinary ppl are so tolerant on others...
You know few yrs back, tamils wanted Halasur(Ulsoor)to be added to tanil nadu map!! which is in center of Bangalore.....

Probably first taste of the strength of the Kannada orgns seen by tamils was abt 15 yrs back only in Modern era.....
Now a days they spk fluent Kannada on the streets of Karnataka.....however they are friends now....
But its not with the ppl now. its in the hands of Politicians..

hello skype... you all KN people saying ur self as more tolerant but really u r all short tempered

What TN asked for ulsoor?? u only know that no one else... Its really shame u r supporting dirty politicians who creates org like "saving border" . Keep in mind KN is not a country its just a sate only and TN is ur brother only.. no need of org like this with in country...ok

Why no other state have a org like this ? KN only people come down to street with politicians to create cheap shows.. is that mean tolerance for u???

The funny thing is TN is giving most of the power supply to KN ..but even now TN is under serious shortage of power they not saying to stop giving power to other states... it just building another power plant in its own state.

I simply dont understand y u all fighting for border with other states !!!

Dear Vijay,

Its not for fighting with other states, the orgn is working for protecting its borders.

For ur info,TN is not giving power, its SELLING the power to Karnataka, its not free KN pays for it, dear.
TN has always fought with KTK even with Great Sir M.Vishveshvariah! for one or the other reason.
Now the issue is, Hogenakal, here also, its provocated by TN. (dont tell HGKL is technically in TN as said before)If that is true, KN ppl are not stupids to go & fight for other states property.
Coming to Ulsoor issue, U better read history of Bangalore.
Thanks for the conversation Viji I need to leave.. bye..

Had TN thought of India as a whole, then they would have accepted Hindi in schools as compulsory. Buddy, every one has their won view, please keep your view with you. KN knows how to deal with the situations.

Ofcourse KN knows how to handle such situations :
Burning buses with people inside them
Rioting and banning movies
Killing people living in their state peacefully when TN asks for water.

If you guys like Hindi, then why are you starting the same language based issue like Kannada rakshanna vedikke or some crap like that? :)

You guys fight for water from Maharashtra, but not share water.
You have land issues with Maharashtra and claim Belgaum as yours whereas it belongs to MH. You guys fight with every other neighbours.

Didnt a very famous progressive CM called you once a rogue state?

Yup A ROGUE state.

Karantaka Bandh
by bala sreenivasan on Apr 02, 2008 05:17 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

As a nation, we are lazy and would not miss an opportunity to remain idle as exemplified by the bandh call. Now TN Govt. will sponsor a bandh allegedly to spite Kannadigas thus paralyzing normal life. But I am happy to know at least one Tamil will be safe and secure in Bengalooru- the daughter of Tamil Nadu CM!
As for other the safety of other less fortunate Tamils, we can collectively pray

Karnataka bandh
by SUNDARAM RAMAMURTHY on Apr 02, 2008 04:38 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

The people and the politicians are wasting their energy and time - whenever they call for a bandh, strike, agitation etc., etc., so also the protection force - rather then using their brilliant mind and valuable time on other more useful and inventive matters.
It is a great surprise, and shame to oneself, that the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister having a dictating command over the centre now-a-days allowing the situations, like this to Tamil Nadu and Tamilians, to crop in. The Centre, on the other hand, cannot sovle problems between the bordering states, and then how they are going to get solved with a neighboring country, Pakistan. We need another Vishwesvarayya to reborn with long range vision to solve these inter-state problems.

Mr. Sundaram, you are wrong when you ask "the Centre, on the other hand, cannot sovle problems between the bordering states, and then how they are going to get solved with a neighboring country, Pakistan?"
The current dispensation overtly led by Manmohan singh and covertly controlled by Soniaji can not solve any problem! It is as helpless as you and I are

You please put your hard work here. Let us rebuild our state. Modern day Tamils went to Bangalore only for job. So is the kannadigas in TN. All kannadigas please go back to karnataka. The TN government must request all tamil professors in IISC to come back and concentrate in our land.

Time for States like Bihar to make a comeback and prosper
by Rajput on Apr 02, 2008 04:20 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

The medicine to cure the disease called Bal-Raj Syndrome may sound too harsh, immoral and not good for the health of the country. But how will the two Thackerays react if some one from North India adopts tit-for-tat policy. If the duo are hell-bent upon throwing out the human resources from outside their own state do they realize what will happen to Maharashtra if some cynic of Bihar or UP one day launches an agitation calling for the blockade of minerals and foodgrains on way to this western state. After all it has to rely heavily on other states both for minerals and foodgrains.

Thackerays, and some of his apologists in the media, film-world and politics, need to be told loud and clear that their state, Maharashtra is a leading industrial power today largely because of the policy enunciated by the politicians of the same North India, against whom they spew venom. They must understand that the freight equalization policy was adopted in 1948 by the Centre to facilitate the equal growth of industry all over the country. At that time we have Jawaharlal Nehru, a man from UP, as the Prime Minister. And then a few years later a Bihari, Rajendra Prasad, became the first President of the country.

The worst sufferer of this policy was undoubtedly the undivided Bihar (now Jharkhand hewed out from it) and to some extent Orissa and Madhya Pradesh (now Chhatisgarh carved out from it). Industrialists interested in setting up plants anywhere in the country%u2013%u2013Maharashtra, Guj

The problem is the regional party ruling the states in India, they have no national agenda and as far as TN is concerned, the dravidian party looks at it as a country in itself and doesn't care about its neighbours..and always tries to ride rough shode over its neighbours using there clout at the center..

BJP and Yeddiyurappa knows the formula to cheat kannadigas
by Subramanian kumar on Apr 02, 2008 03:56 AM  Permalink

I guess Yeddiyurappa has achieved his plan by provoking the problem between two states. But the fun is that, if the central administration change, BJP will fall in the legs of karunanithi or Jayalalitha whomever is top at that time.
