Indians splashing mud on fellow Indians not having the feeling of brotherhood. Our dear country which has so much progressed still fights language issues, water issues. Bad to see it. We Indians dont see the cunning minds of the politicians who are instigating this.
Alright, same old story - the main issue is forgotten, side issues are taken up.
The main issue is this - Hogenakallu is an amazing tourist spot, one of its kind in the world, literally meaning "Smoking rocks". The water falls cascade gently in series of small steps instead of one huge fall, and the intense fog created by the water gives it its name.
The point is - its STUPID to build a dam there, by the TN govt. Its downright illogical and retrograde. It will destroy the falls, pollute the water, and rob all the people around the falls who earn their bread via tourism.
As for water for Dharmapuri and Krishnagiri areas, there is very little relative population there, and it can be easily served by negotiating a deal with the Karnataka govt or the Andhra govt.
But building a dam for Hogenakallu is plain bloody CORRUPTION in full swing here.

Why dear? Do you really have to condescend to such depths? Don't you and I respect your Mother? What will she feel if she were to know you typed such things? Why do you insult their upbringing and the pains Parents take to bring us up?
Stay calm. I hope you'll do well. But taking out your frustration in a destructive fashion like this won't help. Try something more useful.
I will request both of my south indian nations to solve the issue based on International law of reparian used in water flow. Did you ever find india Pakistan fight over water?. ( Thourgh they fight on so many other issues) . Involve UNO if needed
Please call army to deal KRV as they pose hazard to the unity. Besides that these persons are really dumbs that these activities will only affect their state with road/rail blockage.
1. Many Bangalore firms do business with industries in Hosur and sizeable revenue the state earns which they may loose 2. Bangalore receives imported goods from Chennai port otherwise it has to receive from Mumbai port which will increase logistics / production cost of products for many firms 3.Bangalore will suffer with construction activity halt, vegetable price rise, etc., 4.Bangalore lorry/bus owners fill fuel for their vehicles either at Hosur or Chittoor [AP] to save cost as the price of fuel is costlier by Rs 4/- per litre in Bangalore and the truck owner's profits will decline. 4. Today DTH is affordable and if Tamil families switch over to this they can watch Tamil channels and the cable operators in the city will loose revenue.
If these facts are understood by KRV/Kannadigas they may not do this.
