The same tamilians tried to blockade the essential food movement to kerala for the mullaperiyar water quoting some agreement during british time. they dont have any moral right to speak nowwhere were these tamilians who r speaking of the indian unity and other stuff then?tamil cannot do the same arm twisting techiques to karnataka as kannadigas are not dependent on foo trucks from tamilnadu for their survival like kerala.TN is always at loss as we saw in the past if this gets out of control.Thats why tamils are taking refuge in the moral talks of indian unity and kannada arrogance. They know very well that no.of tamilians working in karnataka is far more than the other way round and these tamils will get affected.Else these tamils would have jumped up and down and by now blocked the NH-7, the same way they blocked NH-47 to kerala and the rail service at coimbatore a few months back during mulla periyar issue

Only intelligent and human friendly people can make India to feel proud. I was totally fed up by looking at the ugly words arrowed on tamilians. People should dont become prey for politicians. Why yeddiyurappa shows this much attention to highlight this problem at this time? If yeddiyurappa is so great on his state, did he accompanied the people who were involved in riots hit, and destroyed the theatres? All he does is use you as arrows for his and his parties pride. He will participate in public outrages only if he feel safe. Otherwise he will gift the possible assaults to those followers.
Hogenekal is in TN - the lower riparian state of Cauvery. If TN is building a dam and a power plant in the lower end of the river with Karnataka being the upper riparian state - how does it affect Karnataka? I cant see how technically it affects the state of Karnataka. Am i missing something?

Political mileage of the agitation is definitely on cause but actually they are prempting a defence of their own illegal constructions in the upstream against the award of the tribunal. Another is the time and again seen childish mentality of the Kannadigas out of inferiority complex to oppose anything what they can not achieve themselves.

Water sharing is not as simple as our side water yours and our side yours. It has to be approved by both states and center(since we already have a Kaveri dispute going on). TN comes up with new project means they need more water to cater to that and where it comes from...there you go ...KRS has to send some more water..so this problem just comes to same issue. Inferiority and other stuffs really doesn't matter when food and water are at stake.

The same doubt I got. Geographically (in fact, actually) it won't affect Karnataka part. Why Riot? Shame to be an Indian! :(

Bangalore got its identity because of tamilians and other state population. All the Construction workers, low skilled to high skilled enterpreneurs,IT ,business people were all from Tamilnadu.Kannidagas developed skills from fellow tamilians and slowly they also started being successful.I beleived Kannidaga were the most tolerant and humane people and they never had the jealous feelings. But now they have become so as they dont have quality TV channels ,Quality movies or quality actors who can match upto Tamil/Telugu /hindi counterparts. Now they have targeted the tamils, next it will be telugu and hindi people as they are also forming quiet a force in Bangalore.I think all the politicians in karnataka should be axed if they show anti democratic feelings and all the IT companies and devvelopment to be pulled out.The centre should take severe action on erring states and remove them from social economic developments. Then only karnatka will learn
