Most of the arguments in this forum gets trendy and tangential.The issue in hand is whether, Tamil Nadu is entittled to go ahead with the project for providing drinking water for the parched throats of people inhabiting Krishnagiri and Dharmapuri districts from the naturally available resource Cauvery, that originates in Coorg and flows through both the states.If it is going to adversely affect the state and its people Karnataka is nevertheless entittled to object.But what ever water is flowing in the river after providing for agriculture and Bangalore water supply the state of Karnataka should not have any objection to any useful projects in the trailing river beyond their borders.Karunanidhi can spell foul words as much as he has to contend with Jaya and Ramdoss who are waiting in the wings to claim credit for what ever Tamil Nadu reaps while the glamorous cinema stars also will pose for videos in the fasting demo after a heavey break-fast and late lunch, the educated people of Karnataka who as a majority are peace and God loving should not do any thing that will tarnish their image while quoting archeology and religious scriptures to bolster their holy tradition and resort to vandalising the property of Tamils and their way of life on dictation from maverics such as Narayana Gowda.

i agree with you that tamilnadu govt can construct a dam over river cauvery for drinking water project. but do you remember tamil nadu government have vehementaly opposed even silting operation in KRS. If you say they have the rights to construct a dam we have equal rights to construct a dam near MEKADATU or any other place in karnataka Hope you will understand

There is nothing that krishna has to understand. I hope you have to understand a lot. What you said is correct? Tamilnadu opposed that project because after that project there are chances that tamilnadu will not get the stipulated amount of water simply bcoz water is first coming from karnataka to tamilnadu. Anything you do at karnataka area will affect tamilnadu whereas anything tamilnadu do will not affect you as it already passes thru karnataka. Hope you will understand. Besides, eventhough it is tamilnadu mistake go to the court and get a stay order to stop this project. Why are you hitting the buses and innocent peoples????? Why are you encouraging violence in india?
within months of narmada project approval, the narmada water has started to flow to many local regions. last week, a canal carried narmada water from gujarat to rajasthan. the reason: both states have bjp govts. such vision is possible only with bjp govt. so, don't fight; elect bjp govt. it's possible to live and let live; let bjp show the light. come elections, be sure to elect a bjp govt in your state. for xtian tamil voters: bjp will bear the cross for you.

All was well until CONgress was voted out of TN. All Congress governments have chosen to block water to TN from the three bordering states.. and TN has no river of its own. [ There was one minor one called Coovum which was polluted by Intelligent Karunanidhi ]
If the Kanada people rule the world: Brahmaputra river will belong to China only - because it originates in Tibet> The Indus will only belong to India - because it originates in China. The niles will only belong to Tanzania, because it originates in Tanzania of course.
Are the kannadigas really that dump? No wonder, there is so kannadigas in Bangalore!!!!!!!!!!!!

Be proud to be an indian. It's india fate that we got some idiotic and selfish politicians who always want to gain votes, money and wants to retain the power. It is a curse to india we dont have a single good politician. All these violences are just because of these politicians and not because of peoples. Every true indian will have a soft corner abt other indian...
South India is a peace heaven and we should come together to maintain it. Karnataka Rakshana Vedike should not spoil it for cheap political mileage. We have enough Terrorist organization to affect Indian growth so pls dont create new ones by you cowardly acts. It will only spoil Bangalores image. Pls take the situation of Srilanka before doing such thing. Once rich country is turn to a wasteland just because of the same cowardly acts. So dont turn Karnataka into a battle ground. These political was should be fought in court and not in streets. Stop it before its too late.
