China is the only country in this planet which did not recognise accession of Sikkim with India for decades though it happened peacefully through a referendum. Indian Govt. and Parliament of the time were even hesitant. But China forcibly annexed Tibet. Yet successive Indian Govts. have been saying repeatedly that Tibet is an integral part of China. Moreover it is a common practice to use force to suppress peaceful protests/demonstrations of Tibetan refugees whenever a Chinese leader visits India. And we call ourselves a democratic country. I would like to remind ourselves one incident. Once President Jiang Zemin of China faced black flag demonstration in the US during his visit to that country. He raised the issue with the US President. The US President just smiled and replied that it is a democratic country. We no more see the democratic republic of India in our foreign policy(China, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Burma, Fiji). I have an appeal to Govt. of India. While negotiating boundary issue, Indian Govt. must not barter self respect, be it McMohan Line, Arunachal, Tawang, Aksai Chin. China's activities in our neighbourhood and maritime interest area is becoming increasingly suspicious. Peace, cooperation and friendly relations with China is in the interest of India. But the same must not be at the cost of self respect.

I completely agree.
Actually China is very vulnerable unlike India. China's economic power comes from three cities - Beijing, Shanghai and Shenzhen areas. With small troubles in these cities, white people will run away.
Best way out is to accept the line of actual control as international border. The barren mountains wil give us nothing but once the boundary issue is resolved many of our jawans will be united with their families. I have been to Tawang and Bomdila and I have seen their plight. I felt really sorry being an Indian failing them.

That can't be done otherwise these parasites will only demand more and more territory and you will ask for status quo to be made permanent. We have three evil neighbours we have to live with, and it will come at a cost.
Have the left parties heard this one from the Chinese Ambassador in India, don%u2019t they consider this to be interfering in the internal affairs of this country. Will they take to the streets on this issue. Or does this guy have the right to tell us what to do as far as the left parties are concerned????? or does he think we are idiots that he has to tell us the obvious,
Other than Indira Gandhi and PV Narasimha Rao most of the Indian Prime Ministers(congress) are useless. It is b'coz of Nehru's feeble character we had to pay the price in 1962 war against China. We need Prime Ministers like Vajpaye and defence ministers like George Fernandes. Most of the congress Prime Ministers support either Russia or America to get their support against China. We have to grow indegenously in this world. But it's not possible b'coz all merit students and scholars are leaving India for good. Congress party will do anything to remain in power. Reservation system based on caste, religious, gender and god knows what will be the next!
