All this brutal incidents happen in other part of India too but delhi has no comparison. Women feel insecure over here be it a mall, be it blue line bus, be it palika bazar. Delhi men feel that every girl walking on street is for pleasure only. I stayed for 3 yrs in Delhi and many times observed that how mid age people try to molest girls. Don't blame on a single community. Be it punjabi/jaats/ Biharis/ Bhaiyas..everybody is involved in these guys. These people might have got money but they are very poor in terms on culture.

Indians progressed a lot after getting freedom in the areas of corruption, crime etc (Even capital city has good crime records, imagine the status of a remote village in Bihar)..
The country showing signs of complete lawlessness.. Its time for Indian%u2019s to realize about whatever material progress we achieved the same progress is shown by ruling elite and Bureaucracy towards corruption and inefficiency.. The is no guarantee for justice, You should be lucky if you are getting a judgment in your lifespan, given the no of cases pending in court.. The country is becoming a banana republic..

Ranjith lets not fool ourselves anymore and accpet India indeed is a banana country with the highest amount of hypocrisy and tall, hollow and false claims.
Rape and Murder are became daily even in the Capital city of India. So called great politicians / police officials are busy in filling their pockets with money and dont hv time to bring the law & order under control in the National Captial. Just two days back, Japanese tourists were gang raped and now our own Indian Doctor was gang raped. Hats off great Indian Culture!!!! India is the only country in this world where rapist, mass murderers, criminals can freely roam around the country without any fear of punishment. Long Live Indian Democrazy!!!! This is the reality check not only in New Delhi but also in the entire country. We(Indians) should be ashamed on how 'Independence/Freedom' are being mis-used. On knowing these things, I personally feel that we (Indians) dont deserve to enjoy the freedom/independence and we are much deserved to be ruled by a dictator or military. Our laws were blind copied from British consititution and already out-dated. Unless we have very strong/severe laws without any loopholes, the future of India is moving into a "Black Hole" where much more crimes will become a routine in daily life and no justice could be awarded to any of the victims. THIS IS THE REALITY IN INDIA NOW. Our great / stupid politicians will not do anything until they become victims of the crime.

The Islamic Law is right choice to keep women in safe and prevent men from committing such a uncivilized activity. As a normal spectator, no one can realize the need of such a great law unless their family member is victimized in this.

I second this. People who cannot control themselves should be controlled artificially. But care should be taken while implementing this so, even if there is a slight doubt, such a judgment should not be passed against someone.

Unfortunately, islam lays the blame for all social ills on the woman. According to Islam (as per Saudi Arabian social laws and what many of the imams say) a woman who is NOT in a burqa is "asking to be raped."
Also, a wom%uFFFDs testimony is worth nothing islam countries - in order for a rapist to be prosecuted, there has to be three witnesses who can back the woman's story (one has to only look at Pakistan and see the plight of women who are raped, and the kind of 'justice' they receive in the hands of law).
So, justice for women under islam is out of the question!
Just good old fashioned capital punishment for the rapist should suffice!

why islamic? There are so many countries in the world where islamic laws are not in practice. Arent' they run efficiently. In Afghanistan, under Taliban's rule, school buses were having stones in the place of wheels. That is the state of affairs.
I do not believe in this theory. But after observing the characteristics of the North Indias, I feel the theory can be true. The uncivilized way of behaviour towards public, treatment of women, taking on civilized people and criminal activities etc endorses such notions. It is ridiculous!

People in Punjab, Haryana and Western UP are born criminals. Delhi, unfortunately, is overcrowded by these scoundrels. In law breaking and bribing, Punjabis are the first. Criminal activities Hariyana is the first. Western UP is the breeding place of terrorists. These scoundrels kill innocent people in broad daylight with whatever their hands could lay upon.
