Rama was a mythical character, who was portrayed as a drunkard in Valmiki Ramayana. Whats the dispute there, boy? Karunanithi is more clever and knowledgeble than most politicians in India. Why has not Advani responded for Karunanithi's call for a public debate on Ram???? Advani knows he is up against a politician claver and a half than himself. Go find some clever lines boy.

Ramayanam is an Ithihas - which means it happened. Puranas means mythology. Many politicans blindly talk about Ramayanam without thought - pl dont ape them. Plus dont you thing other countries right till thailand believe in Ramayanam - which itself should prove thats its more than a myth.
Secondly what Rama drank was Somabhanam (excuse the spelling) which was more of a mind stimulating drink and not local toddy/bhang as we are to belive. No one knows the contents of the drink to talk about it.
Hey even if he was drunk - i wouldn't blame him - who wouldn't after loosing an kingdom, being banished to the forest and top of that loosing his wife.
Govt or no, these idiots must be fined at least Rs 100 crore for causing not just productivitiy loss, but actual financial loss by all the affected busisnesses, not ot mention the hardships and burden imposed on the already suffering aam aadmi.

After Bandh, the news reports will say so many crores/production is lost - man hours are lost ! etc.etc. All will read and forget ! Is is lawful to conduct bundh by a ruling party ? Wasted hours/minutes/seconds will not come back ! All will teach about time and its essence ? Any one follows ?
No body is going to care for this bandh. Everybody will be watching some DVD's at their home and children will be playing Gully Cricket whatsoever.
It is just a time pass to show that His Highenss Karunanidhi enjoys support of all Tamil People.
It is not like that. In some places traders have called for closing of shops for one day against the hooliganism of DMK cadres forcing them to down shutters on Sunday and Monday.
Hindus in Tamilnadu will not come out in the open against these rowdy elements as expected by BJP, but it is 100% confirmed that Karunanidhi will create disharmony among the people and try to divide them on the basis of aryan / dravidian again. But, the problem is that he has crossed bearable limits this time and he has to pay for the same in the next election.
