1) Hindus have 3 million God, is it true? - No
2) All the Hindu Gods are animals - No.
3) Lord Krishna had 16,000 Girl Friends. No.
4) Lord Shiva performed puja to a DiCCK ( Lingam) - Wrong. Shivalinga is the worship of communion of Shiva and Parvati and a symbolism of sacredness of marriage.
5) Lord Shiva had 3 eyes - No. He had just 1. Sati commited suicide in her father's yagna not being able to tolerate her husband, Shiva's insult. She was reborn again as Parvati.
6) Lord Ganesha is a elephant - True. You have a problem.
7) Lord Hanuman is a Monkey - So what? Even chines worship monkey gods and myths.

The Agni Pariksha served 2 purposes - Reclaiming Sita back from the care of Agnidev and proving her virtues to the world so that her faith could not be questioned by the people. Rama never doubted Sita. But unfortunately his subjects in Ayodhaya were narrow minded fools who wouldn't trust their King's actions in Lanka and forced him to abondon Sita anyways.
14) Dravpadi had 5 husbands (common in hinduism) - Draupadi is the sole example of this 5 husband thing. Show me which other Hindu family in past and present have had it? Draupadi got 5 husbands because she had asked for a perfect man and God told her it was not possble to have so many qualities in one man but in 5 different man and so the boon she took became her karma. I suppose a woman can marry and divorce and thus have have 8 husbands in her life like Liz Taylor. In Punjab where girl child is killed a new trend of brothers marrying one woman to prevent divisions in house and farm property has emerged however. They are again not Hindus.

17) If having more faces is great, then RAVANA had 10 faces, so technically RAVANA is the strongest. The 10 faces are just representations of the 10 evils that Ravana symbolised that is lust, greed, misuse of strength, killing Dharma, arrogance etc. More figurative than real.

They would go head over heals with some islamic structure like monkey mahal or some qutib dump but never our south indian temples.

This development took place with time. there was no periyar in the north India, how come now dalits are allowed in teples in the north. Any sensible person will vouch for entry of Periyar or Karunanidhi.

so only Brahmins were blocking lower-caste entry into temples?. What about being banned from drinking water, what about being forced to live outside villages, what about being forced to work as labourers, what about two tumbler system. Everyone is responsible for oppression including Periyar's own caste, Chettiars, Nadars etc everyone abused and oppressed but I guess the only important point is entry into temple for you. So the solution is to paint a community as villain and carry on with abuse. the dominant landed classes in cahoots with the brahmins who were the scriptural authorities had connived to suppress the people. no one is blaming the brahmins. there was not a single loss of life in the revolution of periyar. they chose rama because it was the god of the landed classes and the brahmins. they achieved their revolution. they released the people from the shackles of caste superiority and inferiority. the brahmins are well respected and they practise their religion with peace and people are even today drawn to brahmin rituals. if it were not for periyar,30 % of the oppressed people would still not be allowed into temples. if people are talking about hinduism being the majority religion,they should thank periyar,annadurai and karunanidhi. i can imagine how u would have opposed the entry of lower castes into temples in the 1940s. that is a normal human reaction.

Periyar himself belonged to a landed classes i never heard him heaping abuse on his own caste LOL, once again you harp on temple entry. Not a single loss of life was lost because Periyar was influenced by Gandhi and Brahmins should thank god for that else Periyars and his followers would have butchered Brahmins. As far as I know Brahmins had very little power apart from being able to read and write Sanskrit and some mathematical knowledge. There are very few prominent Brahmins even in Mahabharata and Ramayana and they are penniless and beg to make a living. Periyar's ideology is as bad as Hitler,Sinhalese ideology, Hutu leaders ideology which led to massacre of Tutsis in Rwanda. The only thing diffrent was Periyar was influenced by Gandhi. The whole point of Periyars ideology was to find a scapegoat and blame them, their intention was not to rid Hinduism of casteism. Even today Hindus in TN marry among same caste and I heard even converted Christians look for match with those who have converted from the same caste. There are more inter-caste marriages in North India and that will rid Hinduism of casteism, not this brand of rationalism.

I am from the Mayurbhanj District. I am not supporting what Dara did but people cann't imagine what these nonsense so called priest and the nonsense organizations are doing in the remote areas. They are using the innocence backward caste people. I can tell one true incident.
Once I had an opportunity to meet some of the backward guys in a very remote area. I have asked one person how he was converted to Ch.
He told me....
Once he had fever and some so called volunteer came to meet him. They gave some medicine and told him to take with the name of his GOD. (These people believe many stones and trees as their GOD). So, next day they came and asked him whether he is feeling better. But he was still in high fever. Then they gave another medicine and told him to take with the name of Hindu GODs. The person did what they told. And the very next day they came with another medicine and told him to take with the name of Christ. And after taking for some days he was recovered. This made the person believe that only Christ exist........
Actually, that area is malaria prone and these volunteers know this.
In India now one can tell or do anything against Hindu GODS and GODDESS but no body dare to do it for other religion. Its all politics nothing else. Dara did a very wrong thing by killing the kids but he was very much right by punishing some of these volunteers as our court of laws or our system is not going to punish them.

Only a few years ago, the Chinese discovered some sanskrit documents in Lhasa, Tibet and sent them to the University of Chandrigarh to be translated. Dr. Ruth Reyna of the University said recently that the documents contain directions for building interstellar spaceships!
