PAK elections.
by zainul abedin sayed on Sep 24, 2007 12:03 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

GOOD.Musharraf must arrest maximum possible politicians and keep them in jail for rest of their life. This dirty community of politicians deserve some good bashing.Their Indian cousins too deserve the same, but unfortunatly it cant happen in India. In the name of democracy this community of politicians is getting richer and richer and the poor are getting poorer.Pakistan is not yet mature for democracy because 85% of its population is either under educated or not at all educated.Bhutto and Sharif have always taken advantage of this and have amassed hefty
wealth. The same thing is happening in India too.
But in India the situation is different, the Indian masses are educated and are wiser then the Pakistanis. In next 10 years the entire political scenario is going to change in India. It will take atleast 40 yrs.for Pakistanis to be
mature enough to handle democracy. But Mushrraf should keep in mind one thing INDIA is and will remain the BIG Brother always.

Dear Sayed,

I think you need to brush up your basics of democracy. The way you have supported the act of Mush shows that, Dictatorship is still worshiped by people like you.

How can a dictator ( Mush ) arrest so many leaders without any fault of them. He just wants another tenure as the President & ready to any SHIT for it.

This is purely DICTATORSHIP.

And regarding India's situation - DEMOCRACY is in our Blood. So we cant even think of such nasty things here.

Kiran

What is happening in pakistan should have happened in india, no ned of boasting of india as democratic, it can be put as a few people take law , power money everything and the rest if indians continue in making them rule again. if congress rules communist will pull legs , if bjp rules congress pulls legs ultimately indiands dont get anything and suffer the most, cant indians open their eyes.

Oh dear oh dear, whatz happening to Pakistan-- so called the land of Pures? Its economy is going down the hill; decent education is a nightmare; madarsaas are mushrooming at the expense of secularism. I hope muslims in Pakistan don't blame the Jews or Hindus for their total failure!!

Compared our neibhours we are most successful. Agreed, there are shortfalls but overall India is shining and growing. Indians are far more tolerant and accommodating than our neibhours.

Pakistan needs democracy.
The middle class in Pakistan is always reluctant to come forward to demand democracy and tolerate unconstitutional deals of the dictators.
When Musaraf took over then there were hardly any protests, on the other hand people celebrated the event. The biggest crime or corruption is fidling with institutions and it should never be tolerated. A corrupt politician can be thrown out if the institutions of a country are strong but it is difficult to deal with a dictator who changes the rules and regulations according to his will.
Pakis had a chance to protest against Nawaz Sharief's deportation to Saudi Arabia but people did not respond the way they should have. Similarly now there is need for the opposition to unite and not allow the re election of President but leaders like BB and Maulana Fazl are more interested in deal with the dictator rather then democracy. It is a very short sited policy of these leaders.
Imran Khan is one voice who understands the game of these dictators but he doesn't have popular support.

Dear s h

you've understood it wrong. Mush's army will never stand with Taliban. Because then US will withdraw their support without which Mush cant go much longer
