Did any 'Hindu' or 'Hindu representative' party like the BJP check the status of the Setu after the Indian Ocean tsunami? Did they arrange for a study to check if there has been damage to their revered setu? Or did it even flash to any of the Ram Bhakts across India (before Karuna created this noise) that the setu cud hv been damaged by the tsunami? Now Hindus are concerned abt the setu!
This does not take away anything away from the offense Karu has caused. In the same path of engg college for Rama, will he be interested in having a debate on which electricity board gave power Kannaki to shortcircuit the city she was supposed to have destroyed? or which university did the famed tiruvalluvar get his MA in Tamil Literature from?
Ppl fight for pathetic causes (including the so called 'educated' ones in this forum)... Many times, I just feel happy that India does not any good resources of value... God forbid, huge oil reserves get discovered in TN or Maharashta or Bengal - the local politicians wud invite US/China and claim independence from india!

India is the only nation where different customs & traditions are being followed by the different states. Even among other religions, the customs and traditions vary from state to state. Since BJP is supporting the Hindu Cause, it does not mean that they know everything about Hinduism. I am a Hindu , but I was not aware till the controversy that Adams bridge and Rama Sethu is one and the same. So whoever has approved the project may not have been aware that Ram Sethu and Adams bridge is the same . In the project report it has been written only as Adams bridge. Since the inauguration of the SSCP by Sonia Gandhi and PM, local Hindus started agitating against the project. Even the local court was unable to give a clear opinion and instructed to approach higher court. In most of the cases Govt. is initiating a project with out consulting the local public, like what happened in Singur, Nandigram, and the Titanium project of Tata in Tamil Nadu. Like this there are so many cases. UPA & DMK are trying to hide their culpability by saying NDA started the project. All along UPA Govt. did not give any importance to Hindus sentiments. Central and State Govts. are evading responsibility and trying to divert the attention of the people. Karunanidhi and his party are taking a sadistic pleasure in taunting Hindus, out of self-interest and to help LTTE. This is certainly not a commercially viable project, and no safety measures can be provided for the ships whenever there

CONTINUED: This is the highest state and anyone who attains this state can be referred to as GOD, since even though there is a body for this individual, the individual doesnot have a perception that he/she is is a body or limited, but is an unlimitedness and all pervading and ever living one.
Above states are based on a time base. Where, sometimes, the individual can experience the above stage 2 or stage 3 even for a moment if not all the time. But, still this kind of people can be seen as being known of GOD. But those who can at will attain the above 2 or 3 stages can be called as the ones who are free from the illusion of the maya or creation or Satan or Saitan. but those who are in stage 3 irrespective of time are the ones who are no different than GOD and should be treated as ALL PERVADING DIVINITY THYSELF. We see above stages in the lives of saints of all religions since time immemorial.
IF YOU LOOK AT TEH LIVES OF SAINTS OF ALL RELIGIONS WHO ATTAINED 3rd LEVEL OF ENLIGHTMENT, YOU WILL FIND TO YOUR AMAZEMENT, THAT THEY ALL SPOKE OF SAME THING CALLED GOD OR PARAMATMA OR ALLAH OR HEAVENLY FATHER OR THE UNIVERSAL POWER. Sridhar, I agree with you that GOD is full of energy and it is through this energy that everything was created but I don't agree with you on the point that Humans can become GOD. Even through there are many Gods & Lords, humans are created by GOD - JEHOVAH and no matter to whatever stages you go we can't achieve divinity & energy like GOD possess. To compare ourselves who possess destructible bodies with GOD who is for time indefinite is not real. I have a thought for you to ponder on "Why do other living beings not pray & only humans pray in all religions?". I agree that we should all live in peace & harmony with each other because that's what GOD wants us to do no matter what religion.

Below thing applies to individuals who are in the process of regaining the initial state of oneness: 1. in the initial stages, the individual(be it human or animal or any other individuality) perceives the GOD or Divinity as some power that is located in a place or limited to a body and thus see GOD OR DIVINITY in a temple or a Mosque or in a Church or even in an ideal or principle as in the case of Atheist. 2.In the intermediary stages, the same individual perceives oneself as part and parcel of the universalness or ALL PERVADING DIVINITY OR GOD. Above states are based on a time base. Where, sometimes, the individual can experience the above stage 2 or stage 3 even for a moment if not all the time. But, still this kind of people can be seen as being known of GOD. But those who can at will attain the above 2 or 3 stages can be called as the ones who are free from the illusion of the maya or creation or Satan or Saitan. but those who are in stage 3 irrespective of time are the ones who are no different than GOD and should be treated as ALL PERVADING DIVINITY THYSELF. We see above stages in the lives of saints of all religions since time immemorial.
IF YOU LOOK AT TEH LIVES OF SAINTS OF ALL RELIGIONS WHO ATTAINED 3rd LEVEL OF ENLIGHTMENT, YOU WILL FIND TO YOUR AMAZEMENT, THAT THEY ALL SPOKE OF SAME THING CALLED GOD OR PARAMATMA OR ALLAH OR HEAVENLY FATHER OR THE UNIVERSAL POWER. SO, DONOT FIGHT LIKE A FOOL IN THE NAME OF GOD. SINCE WE DONOT HAVE REACHED THE DESTINATION YET, WE ARE NOT REALIZING THE ONE AND ONLY TRUTH ABOU THE EXISTENCE OF ALL PERVDING DIVINITY ADN ARE FIGHTING AMONG US. HOW FOOLISH IS THIS?
EVEN MODERN SCIENCE IS AFFIRMING THIS TRUTH BY DECLARING THAT ALL MATTER IS NOTHING BUT ALL PERVADING INFINITE ENERGY
Hindu religion is not very conservative. In this religion you have right to worship or not worship the god but you always be Hindu. You have a right to discuss the good & bad things of a particular god logically. Because every body knows that religion is not based on science. It%u2019s only faith.

Mr. Karunanidhi and others! Have you courage to show your disrespect to other religion? Can you dare this? If you do so Mr. Karunanidhi, I will be the first person to salute you. Other wise every body understand that you are coward, very very very very cheap type of person. And definitely something wrong related to your birth.

Your are qualified joker! Periyar or Chinaar, the strugle was against North India and had nothing to do with so called rationalism. That was a trick used by some reactionary leaders like Periyar, Lohia, Lallu etc. Periyaar was a stooge who helped Christian missionaries in spreadind false information about Hindus.

Let us all just think of the fact instead of posting comments on any one. What is the present use of the existing bridge built by Ram?. If we agree the presence of the bridge, let us also think for what purpose it was constructed. If someone ask Ram, he himself might grant permission to demolish it as the purpose for crossing the sea was fulfilled by that time. Let us all try to understand this fact & try to resolve it.

the fight of the dravidian movement was against the brahminism which was suffocating a majority of our people. the statement by the chief minister was necessary because the BJP dragged rama s name into politics and development. when someone tells that there should not be development by invoking ramas name,it is only logical that the other party will question whether rama was real or imaginary. the development project is for the people,not for developing another rival religion.

You just can't say anything that comes in your dirty mind about Muhammad SAW. There must be atleast some authenticity in what you are telling. If I tell that you are a son of George Bush and you are born to a man not woman, will anybody believe? Your message shows that you don't have even 1% knowledge of Islam and I doubt that you don't have knowledge of any religion and not even yours. I have many Christian friends and we are really good with each other since long.We discuss a lot about our religion to know the actual religion of all but in a healthy manner. You need to have big heart to digest the truth. If you have knowledge then answer the following questions: 1. Is it not right that Pope have Servants & Armies While Jesus never had them If Yes. Can we follow him? 2. Jesus Never Drank nor promoted it then why christians drink so much regarding it as their divine rights. 3. In the name of Liberalism & Modernism Why christians are promoting Nudity & Pornography.. 4.Jesus Christ never told anyone to worship him they why his statues are worshipped everywhere as nothing of that sort is mentioned in Bible.

Mr.Ismail Sayyed, I have seen many Muslims keeping the framed photograph of Kabba and some Arabic writing in their homes and work-places. Are they not idol worship? The human-beings need some symbols to worship - whether Hindu, Muslim, Christian or of any other religion.

Just refer to the book "The Meaning of Hinduism" by late Mr Kannadasan - in which he says that 'anyone can point a finger at Hinduism and Hindu gods but not on other religion. Notwithstanding these, Hinduism will grow further.'
