it can be observed that some brahmins are using unbecoming language. it was earlier observed during the release of the movie periyar. can any of these people state whether any brahmin came to any physical harm during the rationalist movement. the white lies spread by these people only brings disrepute to their community. the brahminical order which was suffocating the people was dismantled by the legendary leadership of periyar. there was no acrimony against the brahmins. they are a caste like any other in tamilnadu today. the dmk has not been trying to spread atheism. these people are trying to belittle the achievements of periyar and karunanidhi by their comments. these types of comments only serve to strengthen stereotypes. it might not be easy for these people to accept that the brahmin community was under the spotlight. the type of opposition that the rationalist movement encountered can be seen by the nature of these comments.

Yes, he is from Pakistan like many. Do you know that Musharaf is from India. It doesnt make any difference where you were born, if love your country, the chosen country, that is what it matters. You have not found anything new dear.

Dear DEAR, Read the full text. In that context (pls. verify dict for meaning). Moreover, then pakistan is birth place, india is his chosen country by his parents. See the political point? Soniya Gandhi can be the PM of this country then, if he is trying to become. Why is he opposing it?

Oh really? 1947 is a small transmition of time. Way back all the continents were together. Alexander invaded northen part of India, from middle east a lot of people migrated to India and tried to implement their religion and caste system. Now they all call this as their land. None of these facts makes sense then. Now where will you GET your facts right?

In that context there were nothing called as India itself before 1947. Soniya is from Italy. Italians never invaded india nor did they divide. It was just the 'religion obsessed people' of India who did it. Get facts right

Mr Dinesh, DMK had no clear stand in major issues including Hindi imposition, Sri Lankan issue. DMK is known for the cultur of violence. Many examples like the attack on Mrs Indira Gandhi in Madurai, on MGR Fan Clubs in 1971 & after etc. Yes, Tamils are emotional but peace loving. But DMK is a family business run by Karunanidhi and belives in violence for that. The attack on Dinakaran Tamil daily did not happen long back to forget so soon.
Fact is that anti braminism is a dead issue in TN. 99% of Land, businesses etc in TN are owned by non brahmins.
Infact outside Chennai, you will not see brahmins anywhere except in few temples.
Your attempt to try to whip anti brahminism will fail. Even in BJP, brahmin leaders have been sidelined and we have mostly OBC leaders running the show.
So dont try to do a hitler act. Anti Brahminism is a dead horse. Howmuch ever you try, you cant revivie it. So be better cultured humans and stop inventing race divides to make politics

I am not a Dmk supporter. I am a Hindu . I am more interested in the progress of the state. You and I cann afford to waste our time here . But think about those poor people who will benefit out of it. Its their livelihood. Nakee swine

asai thamby , i am sure u 've learnt this type language from yr god father Karuna..its not yr fault...it's fault of youra god father Karuna..
I am not a Karunanidhi fan nor a VijayKanth fan nor a BJP fan and not a fan of caste. I am a fan of Hinduism. Instead of all this bad business of getting at each other's heads, let us all Hindus unite and end the scourge called caste plaguing Hinduism once and for all. As long as we have caste we will have a BJP and we have a DMK. Let is project a United Hindu party in the future that is non-casteist and yet purely Hindu. Only then can we prevent the Islamic Jehadists from turning this country into the next Dhimmi Land or Dar-Ul-Islam or Dar-Ul-Harb. Most Pakistani Muslim Religious organizations are committed to destroying India as a Hindu entity. I hope we are serious about the Islamic threat. Karunanidhi is old, corrupt and does not have many years left. The BJP has old and useless leaders who thrive on Brahminical and caste-related votes.
