Start from book on Christ where a newer angle was fabricated and a lineage was connected to Jesus Christ who so far had been considered only father of christians. A fanatic demanded head of D. Brown.
Second came much talked cartoons of Mohammed published in some journal in France. Everybody enjoyed it. It had hurt only Muslims. Here also somebody demanded head of cartonist.
Latest is the faith of Indians, Lord Rama the biggest deity, the biggest Imam of our secular India. From centuries Hindus in entire India were told that Lord Rama to release his wife from the captivity of demon King Ravana, supervised a setu which was t hen poosible as it was Ice-age and the water level was much lower than the present one. Vedaniti demanded head of DMK.
Now in all the above three cases, you will find that the faiths are being made target and sentiments were intentionally hurt.
Friend, we must learn to respect each other and should not let politicians of our country and elsewhere divide us on castes and religion. If we punish our ministers for insulting others religion, they will stand on our courtyard like pet dogs. United we excel, divided we fall.

Please check today's Hindu paper. One can see the screaming faces of BJP leaders locked inside their headquarters. i think this was the first time they are facing the situation which they always make for others.
The BJP RSS cadres killed two people in bus burning.Both deceased seems to be hindu and breadwinner of the family. none from MK or Advani family injured or killed, it always the poor people killed either it mumbai riots,bomb blasts, hyderabad blasts,gujarat riots etc.

Karuna or DMK should not be given a free ride in the matter of destroying Ramsethu.If say,Velainkanni church has to be moved or even partly destroyed for an important construction in TN,what would be the attitude of Karuna or his slaves(DMK ites)? Let him not act as if TN's interests stand taller than Majorrity's interests/faith. He may be answerable to noone,but Center stand answerable to people of India and the coming generations.

Brother,Please Keep Religion out of Politics.All Political Leaders should refrain from saying anything against any faith as it hurts the sentiments. As educated people we are supposed to except our folly and applogise.All political parties are nonsense and selfish and that all ordinary people suffer. Dont fight over religions.Unless and until Indians remain vigilant and wary they may again be consigned to the dustbin of history to suffer eternal darkness and human bondage. What Indian need today is education, free, universal and liberal. It is only education that can give them reason and courage to stand up and challenge communal forces who are hellbent on creating rift between different communities.

The chronology of DMK and KaruNO is unique in manyways. 1) They begged Britishers NOT to give freedom to India or atleast to Chennai Rajdhani (How patriotic!?) 2) They declared, "Will get Dravid Nadu, else Sudukadu (Cemetry) (Now they made TN as a cemetry) 3) They are anti-Hindi (But his relatives know Hindi and sanskrit) 4) They declared NO God (His family frequents temples) Majority of his cadres go to Sabarimala, Muruga temples and even walk on fire, a ritual made during gram devta's festivals) 5) Removed MGR and lost power for a decade (Begged people that he will return the power, once MGR returns to TN from Brooklyn) 6) Nurtured LTTE and made ground for killing Padmanabha and Sonia's Husband 'Loving' Rajiv and lost election 7) Great congress toppled Gujral govt, who was against removing DMK ministers 8) Withdrew from NDA govt at last minutue, after sucked the last blood of power. 9) Only family members gain power (All cadres were given ice candies) 10) KaruNO, never take up any projects, if it is not spinning money (great co-incidence, his last tenure, he built many over bridges and made huge money, now Ram sethu)
His tenure will end by this year. Just watch, Sonia will dump this oldfox, as she can't afford to loose rest of India for the sake of this oldfox.

Bro Kumar,I agree MK has shown divisive mentality from the time of Tamil problem in Srilanka.While it is one thing to show support to the people who were suffering in Srilanka (remember,India violated Srilankan air border to drop food packs to Tamils when Rajiv was in power?),it is against all reasons to support their armed and extremist uprisal against Srilanka.That is exactly what Karuna did.He sided with Tigers and is even said to have been part of the plot to eliminate Rajiv.So this man cannot decide what the majority in India want.He should be thoroughly investigated before he goes senile.

The same fanatics now trying to prevent construction of this project in Tamil Nadu pushed and started construction on Sardar Sarovar. Sardar Sarovar is a bigger disaster for ecology and inhabitants in the low lying areas of MP, etc.
This clearly shows that the Northies want all the development funds (along with the kickbacks from the corrupt contractors) for themselves while depriving the South of development projects.

hi ramanath, its not about having a better or worse mentality. I have observed that south states' CMs have this tendency of "lets grow our state first, the country will gain automatically".. this is a different approach but makes sense, and has worked well too, however in doing so some politicians go the extent of becoming too state oriented and giving speeches which are essentially anti other-states, and the followers of the govt which has actually done wonders for those states actually start having that feeling. I feel lot of problems between south states, for eg tamil nadu and karnataka have been made worse by politicians. Karunanidhi's statement tht project is being stopped to stall Tamil Nadus progress is just an example of how he tried to create a feeling of insecurity and "everyone hates us" within the ppl of tamil nadu

Politics and religions are always linked. It is and was so in Europe also. Earlier it were church controlled states. Then gradually the present form of governments came in.
