The commies have to explain, why do we need to put the deal on hold for 6 months. What benefit do we get of it. What the hell do they want out of it. These rubbish commies...go to hell...

The commies want to delay the NUKE deal not for 6 months but forever.... They seem to have struck a chord with the Chinese on scuttling this deal.. Nothing stops me from thinking of them as no less than TRAITORS.. Somehow they seem to be ignorant about the future of Young Indians and seem bothered only about buttering their Chinese bosses who themselves have took this very same deal from the US that too on a much compromised note.

This is a clever ploy by the communists. They know that in six months time election time will come in US and this deal will go into the cold storage. It is obvious that their basic opposition is not the agreement itself but the fact that India has entered into such type of agreement with USA ! Had this type of deal been signed with erstwhile USSR they would have gone gaga. Just remember the long term friendship treaty signed by Indira Gandhi with USSR. India, despite being a non-aligned country signed a deal with a superpower by surrendering her sovereignty to some extent and it was hailed by these communists. Let them explain what sovereignty India has surrendered. Is the right to make nuclear bomb left is talking about? We all remember the hue and cry made by them in 1974 and 1998 when Indian exploded nuclear devices. Does it mean now they support making of nuclear bomb by India?

Just send your opinion to CPIM party editor mailid: cpim@vsnl.com
One must assure that communist in India are anti national, they always speak double ton, in last 3 plus years whatever issue they took vanished without any action on them. They are not interested for Indias deveolpment , for nuclear deal they are buying time only to help, who can much of the fuel meantime in theirhands. Proof today news paper reports clearly stated china on N fuel buy before India deal completes.

why these communists dont install prceeding s of parliament when thousand of farmers suicide and crores of ruppes grain went missing, these communists are the greatest hurdles in indi's becoming a global power. these very CPI, CPM group CITU was involved in closing the hundred number of factories in India in past, and making workers of these factories to starve, i dont know why people of bengal and kerala voting for these sense less communistrs....crap, comeon bengalis, and keralites, dont vote for the...
The LEft now wants to wait till the next US government comes to office to test the waters of the Nuclear deal, what do they think that the next US government will cancel the deal. The Left's position smaks of typical Indian beaurocracy of not doing thing in and expedient manner, but want to sit and wait for another day and another time. Well lets say we wai till the next parliament elections and vote out the Left out of office and give a clear cut majority to a Congress led government that can then clearly move the Nuclear deal without any problems. The time for the Nuclear deal is now the time for economic reforms is now the time for the country's progress and development is NOW, We cannot afford to listen to these stupid Leftist's arguments and put the country on hold on its path of development and progress. The Nuclear deal is best approved by this US government that is in office for better efficiency as it fully understands all the issues behind the deal and the points of debate would be shorter, and India would have more to gain. As expressed by the US administration the timetable put forth roughly hopes to get the deal approved by their government by this government that is in office in the near future. The country should pay heed to the attitudes and demonstrations and actions of the Left parties and the opposition and take that into consideration when thay vote during the next parliamentary elections and vote these people out.
Its time media should take responsibility and start telling indian the truth. The deal is so important for india's growth. yet netas have turned the issue upside down made it like india is being looted here. exactly the opposite. Media has to act fast or people of india will conitue to be misguided and taken backward, instead of making progress. And china will overtake us in each and every field..Jago eduated people, jago. unite and raise your voice. Its our land, our home and we work hard to make it progress. Not let communist and unionbazi ruin our future..
The attitude of the communist on going slow shows how they are the main hindrance to development...India had to wait till the 90s to open up the market which has now transformed modern India...in to the 2nd fastest growing nation in the world...the commies anti-development and their born anti-Americanism attitude are getting very costly for the country...we should all take steps that not a single communist gets a seat to the parliament next time...
As regards the N-deal...the commies are making a fool of the ignorant Indians...the Chinese (their master) accepted the deal with more clause...while PM MMS has been able to negotiate the deal tailor made for India...
Everyone is saying India should not compromise on its sovereignty??? The question of compromising on sovereignty does not exist only...India has full sovereignty to explode N-bombs in the future...but it may not get the tech transfer & other things from US in that scenario...becoz US federal law does not allow it...but US will persuade other countries to go on supplying N-fuel to India in that context...
Even though, India has not signed the nuclear Non-proliferation treaty (NPT)... which has been signed by 189 countries of the world (except India, Pakistan, Israel and N Korea)%u2026the US and NSG has bend rules for India to get this civilian nuclear deal pass thru%u2026infact similar deal with Pakistan was turned down by the US Congress (even though Pakistan is an ally of Washington)%u2026the only clause for
Now we all know why the b'td commies are bent upon scuttling the N deal. These b'tds have assured China that till the Chinese corner all the uranium reserves available, they will not let India agree to the deal. By then India will not have anything left except scratching Karat's & Yechuri's bums. Hang the b'tds.

Yes u are right , the chinese have stated to corner the uranium reserves. Our left parties are supporting them on this by opposing the N-deal. I feel if you allocate 1 nuclear plant to West Bengal & Kerala then they will sit quite. What is the use of scratching the bums the old lefties.

Dear yogananda, every country has to chart its own path. In France 89% of power comes from nuclear energy. You must see what is good for India. Does India have petroleum? No. Does India have other sources of energy? Yes, coal is there but coal is depleting at a very fast rate and it is extremely environmental unfriendly thus India can't rely only on coal for a long time. Of course renewable sources of energy can be developed. Large dams can't be constructed because of environmental concerns. Other forms of energy like solar energy, wind nergy etc. are very expensive and they generation is limited. The answer is obvious. We need nuclear power.

Very well said Neeraj. and i also like the way by which you have explained the truth to yogananda instead of using a harsh language like some other people on Rediff discussion board.

wow excelent... and the deal will give us the energy, thats what u want to say. u know after 10 to 15 years, if we have the deal, what fraction of our total energy will be nuclear energy.. just 3 percent. what a deal... you loose yr sovergnity for the 3% of the total energy and join the us camp, which is certainly not a wise decision given the us military attacks all over the world and how unpoplar and hated bush has made his country. so far, all over the world india is respected as a country which respects other country's sovergnity and dignity but now for last one decades or so our attititude of buttering the usa and supporting them in their every injust act has already changed our image and now this deal will make us a tail of the usa for ever. pls be wise.. dont try hard to be looked with a governmnet (the bush government) who is hated all over the world, and even by the us citizens themselves.

Face it nesar, it might be only 3% of the total energy requirement of india in 10 years . But it need not remain at 3% for long. India has got enough expertise to garner more and take that percentage to more than 10 in a very short time after the proposed 10 years. And no other form of energy can provide us with a cleaner form which in the long run will also be important to our environment. I certainly dont want my kids to live in a polluted environment.

If the New US President attitude is in line with Nuclear Deal..then..we should go ahead? Why not now? What is the real problem with communists??The real problem is your ego and devlopement process should wait for 6 months??Shame on you communist brothers..If you just delay 6 months what message India is giving out there..Just communists have some ego problem,so US has to wait 6 moths..How come??
