As a Hindu I am very sad to see Karunanidhi spewing garbage. But it will not be appropriate to chop off his head. This is not our religion teaches. It is sad to see Lord Ram is dragged into issues like this. We do not need any certifcate from Karuna. As they say if you spit on Sun, it will come back on you. Lord Ram is Lord Ram, no matter what he or other says

Chief Minister M Karunanidhi should retire from public life, Janata Party president Dr Subramanian Swamy said today. In a rejoinder to Karunanidhi's remarks that Lord Ram was an imaginary character and Ram Sethu (Adam's Bridge) was not man-made, Subramanian Swamy said, 'the remarks against Lord Rama by Karunanidhi is rapidly becoming pathetic and may indicate that he is under pressure from outside much as from the terrorist outfits like the LTTE.
'The LTTE has long wanted a short and quick access for its contraband boats from Jaffna Peninsula to Tuticorin and Kaniyakumari for its nefarious terrorist activities'.
Karunanidhi's attempt to disparage Lord Rama by asking if Bhagwan Sri Rama was a trained engineer to build such a bridge and if so from which college of engineering did Rama obtain his degree, is silly and objectionable under Section 295 of the IPC. 'I can turn the query of Karunanidhi on him by asking if he even passed High School exams much less engineering college. Yet so many buildings in the State have been named after him. He has a TV channel named after him', Swamy said.

actually subramaniam swamy is not the Party TN head. He is the head for India.. meaning S. swamy when his Janata Party wins elections wants to be Prime Minister .. and allow a regional member to be CM of Tamil Nadu.
UNfortunately, todate noone wants to vote for him.

Brother Karunanidhi remarks on Ram needs to see in the context of sethu project. There is no scientific proof on Ram bridge. It is a crafty work of Sanghparivar to stop sethu project. Sethu project is 100 years dream of Tamils. Show the proof and stop the project. DO NOt make cry over on RAM.

True - there is no such thing as Aryan or Dravidians. Many North Indians are fair because of the seeding done by Gengiz Khan and the like over the last 1000 years - when they used to attack and kill the men and make women pregnant. The basic race in India is the same which migrated from Africa and then spread from here.

this theory of Aryans and Dravidians is a sham spread some half baked European just to emphasize their false greatness and to lay an indirect claim to all the achievements made by our civilization.
Aryans and Dravidians are both indigenous which is borne out by millions of things that unite this vast country.
Keep a cool head and think of positive things to do because by provocation you ( and other individuals) will lose more than the ones who incite such angry statements

Thsi is so funny, i have been laughing my head off. All these commies and "secularists" who have been appeasing fundamentalists from Islam and missionaries with evil designs on Indian culture while at the same time shouting about "hindu fundamentalism" whould probably soon get a taste of what real fundamentalism is! The never realized that the freedom of speech and right to live they get against so called hindu fundamentalists is the biggest proof that they were not fundamentalists at all but rather were most tolerant religious people anywhere in the world. In my opinion the secularists have brought it upon themselves by appeasing the devil and attaching the tolerant in the past.
I do not know when Krishna would have said that time for talks is over and time for using force to establish justice, equality and eradicating evil is here. But I think past few years have been this time of change for this modern age. Talks have failed and we need force to eradicate appeasement. I want to see a day when constitution is really implemented in spirit and the government implements laws whcih make all citizens equal only on the basis that they are all human, no appeasement special concessions to anyone.
Let him come to Tamil Nadu and issue these same comments in Tamil .. I doubt it .. THey will laugh at him ... These sort of uncivilised behaviour is from Middle East or UP/Bihar only.

The Fatwa is a joke. It is meant to tell Karunanidhi that had he said this of any islamic icon he would be dead meat. See what happened to Van Gogh and remember that Rushdie was on the run for almost a decade or more. Hindus cant be taken for granted just because they generally tend to be meek.

my dear friend many great saints were from backward classes and they were highly respected, venerated and the same continues to this day. Also this theory of Dravidians being original inhabitants and Aryans as agressors is a falsehood spread by some half baked Europeans just to show that they were superior. The fact is both Aryans and Dravidians were indigenous which is borne by the fact that the religious practices followed throughout India are extremely similar, for eg Satya Narayan Puja, Shiv Aradhana, Lords and Gods are one and same. It is half baked politicians and selfish people who try to drive wedges between the cohesive and united thoughts of the vast multitudes of people for their short term gains. We should stand united and defeat their designs. It should be told to them that their insulting language against our holy scriptures, beliefs, symbols etc will not be tolerated.
Issuing fatwa has once again showed VHP leaders lack wisdom and knowledge of Hinduism. It is an islamic culture and he is copying that. This VHP guy should be immediately send to Afghanistan as it is a much better place for him to practice Fatwa!!

When Jayalalitha ordered arrest of Karuna a few years back, he was plaintively yelling 'bachaao, bachaao' in tamil.On watching this in TV news, I had felt pity for him @ that time. Now I know that the old lecher , a born barber to boot , with 2 living wives deserves much worse treatment.He is antagonising 85 Crore Hindus of India by his idiotic drivel, let him try the same stunt on Muslims.They 'll make mincemeat of him, which he richly deserves also.
