Prasanna, Hindus are mixure of people living in the other side of river Sind with different cultures.
Now, Dravidian Hindu philosophy don't preach Varna System. For thousand of years Dravidians fought against the Varna system that were imposed by Aryans. and finally they fell prey to the caste system. and then, lower caste were suppressed and discriminated.
To revive our culture, we are fighting against Aryan caste system for 80 years started by EVR. Accepting Ram is accepting caste system since Ramayan clearly says that Ram was born in earth to protect Varna System.
So, Ram is not our God and we have native Gods like Muruga and Amman. Dravidians are Hindus with different belief. we vote for the CM who protect our culture. MK is corrupt but he protects our culture.

good ur Dravidian, but i think there lot of ways to protest verna or cast system. but not speaking against millions of people sentiment. even supreme court said no to religion based reservation, how come ur MK protecting ur culture through this reservation. if he goes to history what about marry virginity. its easy to talk against hindus and to get power in state or central 17% vote is enough. Christians and muslims are 15 % each. so they go the majority.

Are there any better temples in North than TN? From where Sankaracharya, ramanuja etc came from?Who knows Rameshwar,Ram Sethu, SriLanka better than us?

I think the whole problem comes because we have forgotten the spirit behind the formation of India. This country was visualised by our great fathers/mothers as land of cultural diversity, yet one.But, the Sangh Pariwar would like to convert this land into a monoculture.

You dont know the great thing named debate. Once one man asked to a saint, show me the God and I cannot see him anywhere, show me if u can. Saint replied questioned the man again show me where there is no God. Like that, You guys should be cultured enough. Superstar once said about Periyar, Periyar is a Aathigan (a strong believer) you know why he constantly things that God is an illusion, so even though he is nathigan (non believer of God) he is an Aathigan because he believe strongly that there is no God. Its obvious that Karunanidhi felt hate coming from some section of the upper castes during his lifetime. In return, he hates the Hindu religion and all aspects of it including Ram. On the other hand, he openly panders to the muslim community and would probably consider a rabble-rousing desert nomad who committed hundreds of atrocities in his lifetime as a person more worthy of respect. He's not a typical atheist who is dispassionate in his rejection of religions. Having said that, Karunanidhi is just giving out his point of view and VHP members may find this offensive, but there is nothing like a fatwa.

Not Really because I dont beleive in any supernatural or religious stories.. You guys need to realise that there is diversity in this Country and you can not impose your views on others.
Historians believe that Ram actually lived and the Ramayan episode indeed occur.But,it was basically a fight between Aryans and the dravidians. Evidences indicate that the war took place somewhere around the Dandakaranya forests in Orissa. Even now, some tribals there worship Ravan as their God and their language is dravidian.
