Today we in india are completely divided and people are taking advantage of this.Why dou think that Rediff posts communally sensitive articles because it knows that we are so divided that we will fight here and then its traffic increases.Please brothers open ur eyes and let us be responsible indians. 3.let us debate the issue not the character of each other.
4.as far as hinduism is considered it's the oldest surviving religion of the world along with judaism.
5.just as buddism & jainism r off shoots of hinduism ,islam n christanity r off shoots of judaism,there r so many similarities in quran n bible with torah.
6.hinduism existed before rama and after rama and it has many books mostly correct one, few incorrect.islam & christanity is single book n single prophet religions.
7.the good aspect of muhammed is he has given discpline & believebility to people who were unbelievable during 6 th& 7 th cen.
8. except panipat muslims most muslims&christians in india r converted due to caste opprression of hindus (not hinduism).
9.just think guys who will benifit from this polarisation of religions, if politicans divide people let us divide them,don give majority to any one of them.

In South specially in kerala most of the christian accepted chritianity 2000 years ago, and they all were Brahamins. I am also christian and my mother is from Joshi family, Luckily all the ladies in past from our family are from brahamin families, and my fore fathers were from Yorkshire, came India in early 19th Century. I proudly feel from my heart that I am Indian and I love you all hindus.

There is not a single Muslim and Christian on the world which are born with religion they all do accept(in your language converted) religion after birth. In Muslims who ever read kalma and ready to follow shariyat become Musils and in christian everyone who baptised in the name of trinity become Christian. In India who ever take birth are Hindus whether they belongs to Muslim, christian or in Hindu family. Hindu leave them as it is But Musilm and christian put their children into religion. If persom born in Musilm family never be muslim until he accept it same in the christianity. Earlier Hinduism was not any religion it was only a classification of people living in subcontinent and originated from Indus valley civilization. You wont get any reference in any of Veda or Puran, because there were no other religion on that time, so people were not aware but after Invasion of Islam, Hindus realised that we are different and they considering hinduism as a religion. Hinduism is similar word that people use in other countries to show their Natioanlity. As Roman in Italy, French in France, Chinese is in China, english is in England, it doesnt matter whether people are Muslim, Christian or else.
